This unit completely removed the odor of cigarette smoke from my son's room after just one week! It also removed the pet odor from my carpeted living room and it seems to be less dusty. I'll probably but another one to put in my kitchen to tackle cooking/food odors. Still waiting to see how well the UV takes care of the germs in the house and if we will all be healthier as a result, but so far so good!

I wanted to wait before writing this review so that I had it for more than a month in my bedroom, specially since I did not believed it would work, so this is my 45 day review: I suffer year-round allergies, pet dander and pollen. Medication only help but this year nothing I do works! on the second day of running it all day I could tell the difference. The air quality in the bedroom has improved. odors, dust and pet dander are almost gone! allergies have improved and sleep has improved as I am not as congested as usual. I have turn it off for just one afternoon/night and my allergies tend to come back. I have moved the unit around the room but it seems best next to the AC/Heater Vent. I am looking to possibly purchase a second one just to have it in the living room. only downside is the price for the filters. please take that into consideration at the time of purchase and if BB caries these filters.

Great product and I can tell the difference in the air I breath. The only thing I notice is that it said that it gets rid of the Oder in the air but I did not notice a difference at first and a little later on I noticed a difference but there is still smells of food ect... If you are looking for a good air purifier this is one to look into. The plus is that it has other features like Odor and antibacterial eliminator. If you look at the specs of Dyson and the clean air rate this product blows them out of the water. Dyson is a great product but you are mainly paying for the name. I have a couple vacuums from Dyson and they are awesome but when it comes to air purifiers for the price and the quality Germ Guardian is a great product.

Plugged it in and my child and myself sneezed within 2 minutes.. I feel like I felt an immediate difference. It is good for white noise, also. It also bvb helps remove the kitchen cooking smells. I carry it around the house with us. I will buy another later on.

My Air filter/purifier hasn’t bee here and in use for long enough to review it definitively, but I do want to make 2 preliminary points. First, I go through a lot of Kleenex because I am allergic to Something in my house, probably my cat. Yesterday was typical—I sniffled all day, pretty nonstop. This morning I started the day with sniffles and sneezes. My partner started up the GermGuardian in the room I am in, and since a few minutes afterward, I haven’t sniffled or sneezed, and it’s been over 2 hours now! Second point is the fan inside blows out cool air. I will love that during hot weather, but it’s chilly so have to be conscious of where it’s located and how it is turned, in relation to where I am sitting. Not a complaint, just an observation. Overall, this is so far a very good purchase! Good price, seems to be a good quality, is an easy size to accommodate, and seems to let out cleaner air than it pulls in out of untreated space!

This item cleans the air so quietly and so effectively. The hepafilter and UV light ensure that all harmful pollutants and micropollutants are removed. I never have to worry about allergies in my home again. And it looks good in the room, as well!

It works and runs excellent, it is quiet and great for nights too... This is a great otion and excellent price for this quality.

I like this air purifier very much. Easy to use and has adjustable speeds so that when you want less noise to sleep you can turn it down to low and when you are awake you can turn it up. Seems to be working. After a month I removed the filter and shook it outside and tapped it against a hard surface and I can see the dust come off. Filter still looks clean enough to use so put it back in. I like the fact that you can turn on the ultraviolet light to kill germs as well.

This device works well. It’s not too loud. You have the option to turn the UV light on and off. With multiple fan speeds. Filter is easy to clean and replace. I would buy again

This purifier is the perfect size for our bedroom. It is very quiet and easy to use and has made a difference in the quality of our sleep. I have fewer allergy symptoms when I get up in the morning, the main reason I purchased it.

This is my first purchase of an air purifier. I love, LOVE this. the low setting is quiet and the room totally smells different! It smells clean, almost a "cold" smell, in a good way! The UV light is bright at night, so we shut off that function while we sleep. I would totally buy this unit again.

Purchased this item and works well. We keep in in our room and can definitely tell the difference from the rest of the house. It really does help out with odors! I also like that it has an UV light.

I bought 2 of this. As soon as I purchased, target sends me an alert informing me of the air purifier: Pore, is back in stock. We use Pore and new version GermGaurdian at work. 1 gave this old version a chance. One went in a kid’s room and the other went in the living room. the good: 1) it’s not noisy, it has a hum-on low mode, that tells you it’s on. 2) UV light is not too bright-for me. 3) I think it cleans the air, but not completely. Couldn’t smell the smoke from outside. We had it on the whole day & night for 3 days-on low mode. At the same time we have ceiling fan& a floor fan on, during the day. Our windows are closed (from the fire smoke). Now we have it on all the time. the bad: 1) the front vent (where clean air escapes) only comes out of the Right side of the vent and Not the Whole vent. 2) handle(?)that’s located on the upper back, has no grip. Better if it has a rubber grip. All in all, this is an ok-better-than-nothing product. I’d recommend the newer version instead & the Pore air purifier. I’d return the product but the boxes were already thrown away.

Great air purifier for a small-medium sized room. I live in a heavily forested area and like to keep my windows open for the cross breeze so a lot of pollen can get in the house. After running the purifier for a few hours, the air quality is noticeably better. Pricing is decent compared to similar models.

No more allergies in our bed room. A simple solution as the kids would always begin with allergies as they went to bed. Not anymore. Compact, not loud or intrusive. Works as advertised. Great purchase. We noticed the clean air results on night one after I plugged it in and kept it running

This will be my third of these I've owned. I started with just one for the main area. Then, due to fragrance sensitivity and living in an apartment I bought a second for my personal space/office. During this summer and the humidity and heat, my son has been using a box fan. It was time to get a third for his personal space. My family has used air purifiers since the 80s and this has me more pleased with the simplification and ease of filter change evolution.

This machine works well, we have two dog and this purifier is really powerful. It pulls the pet hait towards it, kinda embarrassing that my vacuum doesn't work as well as i thought. Not too loud, easy to clean and the filters aren't crazy pried like other brands. Very affordable!

Ordering and receiving units was simple and on time. Easy set up and quiet operation. You can feel the movement of air and UV light use indicator is clearly evident providing public notice of use. For the expense, they are most reasonable. We purchased 7 of them and use them throughout the facility.

I'm am totally sold on this. I bought it for my office. With the covid 19 we keep our doors closed now. The office is old and the air pretty stagnant. I noticed I was having more allergy symptoms during work than before. I bought this for the HEPA filter and thought the UV C was mostly a gimmick, but let me tell you, this little guy works miracles. I can tell the air is cleaner when I walk in on the mornings and after a few hours in my office when I step out of my office into the hallway I can actually smell the must smell like a ramp basement in the hallway. I had never noticed it before. But the proof is in my allergies that are much better. The high speed is like having a white noise machine running. I like this thing so much I bought a second one for my bedroom to replace my Honeywell that has a permanent washable filter. I can't wait until my 2nd germ guardian arrives. Not only will my bedroom air be much cleaner the white noise will be excellent for sleeping. Quit thinking about this and just buy it! I love it.
