a very good purifier for the price i got it for as it was on sale. very handy and portable as well as space saving. is working great so far. but needs to replace filter yearly.

I bought 2 of these and so far they seem to work well. It is easy to use and does not take up much space.

I love this air purifier. I works great with two shedding dogs, and I’m able to get the replacement filters on Amazon for a good price.

The GermGuardian is lightweight and pretty quiet as it runs in my bedroom. I feel the air quality is is improved during the night as I sleep. The UV-C light is supposed to kill any germs in the area which I hope it does. I am not sure about that part of the unit, but hopefully this is the case with the GermGuardian. The UV-C light is pretty bright and lights up my bedroom during the night acting somewhat like a night light for me. If I get up during the night this UV-C light helps so I can see where I am going. So far, this unit has pleased me!

This air purifier works well for cleaning up the air in a bedroom. It is inexpensive, powerful, has HEPA, and has a UVC filter for destroying germs, bacteria, and mold. However, it's much too loud for a bedroom at night. Even on the lowest setting it runs at 40 decibels, which is the equivalent of someone talking to you at a casual volume. Can you fall asleep while someone is talking to you? I can't! At the highest setting it's 60 decibels, which is even worse. So you can run this purifier on the lowest setting during the day and it won't be too bothersome while you're focusing on your work, or the highest setting out of the room. But forget about sleeping with it on, unless you're the type who can fall asleep in the middle of a war. There's also no sleep mode that turns off the lights. There's a small green light on the top, and a UVC light that is bright blue when it's turned on. So one or two of these lights will remain on, and I can't have lights on while I'm trying to sleep. Even the tiniest of lights is bothersome. I suppose you could put black tape over the small green one, but the blue light runs around the circumference of the tower. I considered returning this air purifier for these reasons, but it is inexpensive and effective at what it's designed for. So I decided to keep it and put it in my basement where there is mold and musty air. So as long as you put it in a room where noise isn't a problem, it's a good purchase. It's the least expensive air purifier that Best Buy offers, and you can price match it on other stores where it consistently goes for less. In any case, after weeks of comparison shopping and reading reviews, I decided to buy the Blueair Blue Pure 411 Auto for my bedroom. At its lowest setting it runs at 18 decibels and is so quiet that you can't even tell that it's on. It also has a night mode that turns the lights off but continues running quietly. Plus the auto function that ramps up when the air gets dirtier. And it's CADR is comparable to this one. It's the perfect air purifier for a bedroom. It's a few bucks more than this one, but worth it.

I have been looking for decently priced purifiers for me and my partners room for what seems live forever. I do not regret this purchase whatsoever, we have had it for about a month and it has been amazing. Both of us have incredibly horrid allergy and sinus problems but also live in a house with multiple dogs (roommates) and this thing has changed the game us! If I had enough money, I'd put one in every room. This is a great starting purifier, I'm sure other brands are extremely comparable or higher quality for a higher price, but I was nervous about purchasing this and ended up loving the Germ Guardian!

This is by far the best air purifier i've purchased. It's very quiet and works great. I have 3 indoor dogs and this purifier works great at not making my house smell like a kennel! lol I debated on purchasing the more expensive ones thinking this one may not work, but after reading the reviews, i am glad i stuck to this one. Will be purchasing the smaller size for my bedroom next.

This purifier works great, noticed a difference right away. It does a great job in small to medium sized rooms. 3 speed settings, low, medium and high. Low setting is very quiet, machine does get louder on higher settings but not excessively loud. You can run the purifier without the UV light if you like. I leave it on 24/7 has made a difference in the air quality in the room. Highly Recommended.

That was one of my concerns ... it being quiet and getting the job done. I feel confident that it's doing what it's supposed to be doing. It's not bulky, so I like that to. It's also very easy to operate. I'm happy about my purchase. Best Buy has not failed me yet with any product I have purchased from them. And if I did run into an issue, they tend to resolve things pretty quickly.

Works great! Bought for my son and I and we both use it in the bedroom. Low noise, blue ion light, clean fresh air especially with my pets and the different smells that come from my and my neighbors cooking. I have very little dog/cat hair/dander to clean. The dust is much lower than it was and I will definitely by a few more units for the living room, bathroom and kitchen but hopefully a smaller version. P.s. covers my 160 sq ft bedroom.

I have had one of these filters for years in my bedroom. When I had to stay home all the time, between the dog, the cat and zillion trees around my home, my allergies went through the roof. so I bought 2 more for the living room/dining room where I work during the day. It has helped immensely. I especially like the the fact that it has ultra violet light to kill off mold.

This product is slimline and easy to operate. It is quiet and unassuming.

We had an issue where we had considerable smoke in our house from a self cleaning cycle in our oven go wrong. This did a fantastic job of removing the residual odor from our home.

I can tell a difference with it around. Although I'm doing the review on this unit, it's my second one and have had the first one for a lot longer. I really notice a difference in air quality during the spring and summer. I'll admit I don't have scientific evidence to show a difference, but did notice a change in how severe my allergies were.

Looks sleek and not too noisy. Easy to use. Fits in small room well.

Within the past couple weeks, I've noticed a significant decrease in dust within my master bedroom where I have the purifier. My eyes and nose feel less affected in the mornings from allergens. Before purchasing this purifier, I'd usually wake up with a stuffy nose, and my eyes would often water. I also have mild asthma and a chronic lung illness, so it was important to also make some changes at home. The air within the room feels considerably cleaner/fresher. The purifier's definitely made some noticeable improvements to my breathability within my environment. I would highly recommend this unit to others. It's worked out quite well. Considering buying a 2nd unit for another room.

I love this air purifier and I have located in my living room and really am enjoying it. It helps purify the air especially because we have a pet and help with smell free of having a dog.
