It's good to place it in the kitchen when cooking, the smell disappears after a few hours. you don't have to open the window to get rid of the smell.

Not bad, although it took only 2 months to malfunction (the sensor needed some cleaning) it doesn't detect the odor/dust right away but still does its job.
