I finished this game back in 2021, completed all the DLC, and spent a good amount of time in multiplayer. It’s an all-around great experience—from the graphics and combat to the acting, story, and exploration, everything feels incredible. However, to be honest, it’s not perfect, as there are some bugs, it can get repetitive, and the enemy AI is sometimes too weak or too strong—but despite that, I fully embraced it. One of my all-time favorites. 9/10.

Ghost of Tsushima is simply spectacular. From the very first moment, it captivates you with its incredible visuals—the landscapes, the colors, and the details make each scene feel like a moving Japanese painting. The gameplay is fluid, the combat is intense, and the story is deeply emotional. The PS5 version further enhances the experience with virtually nonexistent loading times, stunning graphics, and flawless performance. The soundtrack and voice acting are also top-notch. Definitely one of the best games I've ever played. If you love samurai adventures with an immersive story, this title is a must-play.

I bought this game on a whim not knowing much about it except through some videos I've seen on my feed. However, once I began playing it I immediately got hooked to the story line and the first player action it provided. The graphics are amazing! I already love history and this game transports you back to a time of the Mongols. In other words I'm addicted to this game and you will be too. I recommend this game to any player that enjoys a great story line.

This game is excellent. Grade-A graphics, story, and game mechanics. Its no wonder it’s beloved among the gaming community. At a time when gaming companies deliver uncompleted games, they delivered a smooth gaming experience. Its open world, action packed, and beautiful!

I rarely get to play video games, but I am glad I took the time to buy and play this one. I bought the standard ps4 directors cut for around $40. It’s worth twice that in my opinion. It’s hard to imagine this game looking better than it does on my console. The load time is minimal, and it lags very rarely. While some of the side missions can get repetitive, there is always some type of reward that makes it worth it. The main storyline is rock solid and beautifully laid out. The acting is top notch and open world is gorgeous. I enjoyed the dlc Iki island expansion also, which delves deeper into the main characters history, and comes with cool new gear and abilities. If you like Assassin’s Creed, but are looking for something with less of a grind, go with this game. The legends mode promises even more bang for your buck, though I haven’t played it yet. You should be able to Platinum this game without much difficulty.

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the most unforgettable gaming experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I started playing, I was completely drawn into its world. The visuals are breathtaking—every landscape feels like a moving painting, from the wind-swept fields to the quiet forests and villages. Simply exploring the island is rewarding on its own. The combat is incredibly satisfying and well-balanced. Sword fights feel intense and skill-based, with stances and timing that actually matter. As I improved, I felt like I was truly growing alongside the character rather than just pressing buttons. Stealth gameplay is equally polished and gives you freedom to approach situations in different ways. The story is powerful and emotional, focusing on honor, sacrifice, and difficult choices. The characters are well-written, and I found myself genuinely invested in their journeys. The soundtrack perfectly complements the tone of the game, making emotional moments hit even harder. Overall, Ghost of Tsushima delivers an amazing combination of story, gameplay, and atmosphere. It’s clear a lot of care and passion went into making this game, and it shows in every detail. If you enjoy immersive single-player experiences, this is an easy five-star recommendation.

Great game. Story line is nice and combat is smoother than sequel

This may literally be my favorite game of all time! It’s THAT good. The expanding story is excellent, the voice acting is top notch and the game is absolutely gorgeous. It looks so good that I tried to figure out if it was a real place that I could visit (it is, but the game looks better lol). The game mechanics and combat are the real star of the show. I’ve read other reviews that complain about it being repetitive, which almost all games like this are, but Ghost of Tsushima is the best kind of repetitive. It’s just flat out fun to sword fight in this game. This new edition adds another island to explore with a new twist to the enemies which is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and buy this game!

Really enjoyable. If you like games like Horizon Zero Dawn an Assassin's Creed, with a compelling story, an attractive open world and interesting (though somewhat repetitive) side missions, you owe it to yourself to give this one a shot. Plus, it's truly gorgeous. Can't comment on the ps4 (though I'm sure it's still beautiful), but it's spectacular on the ps5. I'm still playing through, and I'm gonna try to employ less simple button-mashing and more combos (there's a light attack button and a heavy attack button) to keep things interesting. Very much worth the cost of entry.

I can't stress enough how amazing this game is. The gameplay is fluid, the story is beautiful, the scenery and navigation is natural and the combat is challenging bur VERY rewarding. This is one of the best games I've ever played

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is honestly amazing. The graphics are beautiful, the story is emotional, and the gameplay is super smooth. I loved exploring the island, doing side quests, and just getting lost in the world. The combat feels really satisfying, and I liked how you could choose different playstyles — like sneaking or going full samurai.

Both the visuals and audio are amazing. Walking through the woods hearing the trees and bamboo creaking in the wind is crazy. A storm brewing in the distance off the coast even has a delay between the time you see the lightening and heard the thunder. The music is straight out of a movie. It adds to the drama. When enemies are close it gets more suspenseful. I love the gameplay. It’s a little hack and slashy, but I love just being able to get lost in it all. The story, so far has been absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this game, especially if you are a fan of Assissins Creed. Very similar gameplay and story telling.

Great game, the storyline, graphics it has everything. I will be buying the other Ghost game once I'm done with this one.

The main character this time is amazing, she has such a great story and the gameplay surpasses the last game in many ways, truly wonderful sequel.

I've been gaming for over thirty years and this is easily in my personal top ten games of all time. Long, engaging and emotional story with amazing art direction. There's so many side quests and the map itself is huge, so you have a ton to explore and discover. The controls are tight and the combat is fun. The voice acting is incredible too these guys put so much emotion and passion into bringing these characters to life. The controls are tight and the combat is fun. The PS5 directors cut improves the games overall performance like loading times, visuals, and framerate from the PS4. It also includes the dlc which adds an entirely new area to explore. Just an amazing journey you need to experience for yourself. Highly recommend playing.
