Great title game mechanics. The animation is bar none other than TLOU2 but since they both are PS exclusives I'd be splitting hairs. The art direction is beautiful! From bamboo leaves to lotus blossoms spinning in the wind it's an incredible site to behold. In fact the island of Tsushima is the most detailed open world I've seen. HZD and Wild Hunt are in the conversation though. Speaking of looks the graphics are the best I've seen other than TLOU2. I can't believe this is running on my Pro. The checkerboard rendering is better than even the most cutting edge 4K HDR rig. The HDR is some of the best I've seen implemented into a game. It literally takes my breath away. I find myself just exploring because of its beauty. I've been playing since launch and I'm still amazed by how great it looks. Sometimes the honeymoon wears off and you stop noticing but not here!

Great story, graphics, gameplay, and characters. The open world is fun to explore to. There's a lot of cool secrets.

One of the best games I’ve played in a long time, A totally immersive experience the combat was great and did not get stale due to the difference stances for each type of enemy, even late in the game switching fluidly from one stance to another while fighting multiple different enemies fun and rewarding. Also traveling the map didn’t feel like a chore like other games (red dead redemption) there was always different side quests and collectibles that weren’t just wastes of time but improved your various character stats and then turned in to fast travel points so you never had to spend long periods of time traversing the map. Those things aside the story is what stood out the most, the story of jins journey was very touching between the flashbacks when he was a child sparring with his uncle to fighting side by side with a grieving mother looking for justice for her family. They did a good job not to flood the game with to many characters that are forgotten as soon as the missions over but instead focus on a core few that you build your relationship with throughout the game through their side missions, so by the end of the game you really feel for these characters who have been by your side from the beginning. I’m so glad I ended up reading a few reviews on this game then ultimately buying it, worth every penny probably put over 50 hours into it. I never write reviews but this game was that good.

I originally played Ghost of Tsushima on PS4, but picking up the Director’s Cut for PS5 was absolutely worth it. The visuals look stunning on my OLED TV, with the enhanced graphics and smoother performance making the experience feel brand new. The story is still just as powerful and emotional, and the soundtrack perfectly captures the tone of the game. Combat is fluid and satisfying, and the added haptics on the PS5 controller really deepen the immersion. Exploring Tsushima’s world in 4K with fast loading times makes everything more enjoyable. The Iki Island expansion is a great bonus with even more story and depth. This is one of the best open-world games I’ve ever played. If you’re a fan of samurai stories or cinematic gameplay, this is a must-have.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this one and was pleasantly surprised. The graphics are fantastic, the storyline is very detailed, and the combat experiences vary depending on your play style and difficulty setting. Highly recommend.

Fantastic. In Ghost of Tsushima, you can explore a huge gorgeous island, literally jam-packed with content. The story is interesting, but lacks some player-driven choices that I'd like to see. Combat is smooth while still maintaining a deep tactical system. All in all, Ghost of Tsushima is my favorite open world game in a while, on the level of games like God of War.

Are six stars possible? This is the game that makes a PS5 worth purchasing. An engaging story backed up by stunning visuals and top notch, fun gameplay all while exploring a vast open world adds up to a gaming experience that validates the price of admission into the next generation of gaming. I cant dislike anything from this game, it has a great story and great image, you can enjoy the game and the view of the landscape from it.

I have been fully immersed in this game since I purchased it. The buildup, while telling you the backstory is also teaching you the mechanics of the gameplay, which I find much better than reading what the "moves" are. Additionally, the visuals are really good. I will say that it can be a bit dark in some scenes if you use the recommended settings, but you can easily dial up the brightness a bit and you will be fine.

This is one of the best games I have played. I won't write specifics since it will spoil things, but the story, graphics and music is absolutely beautiful. Combat is akin to Assassin's Creed, but it is done much better in my opinion. The multiplayer mode while simple, is highly addictive and fun as well!

One of the most graphically stunning video games I’ve ever played. It provides a compelling story. The combat and leveling system are very solid. There’s a wide variety of very engaging side quests.

This game is phenomenal. The visuals are the perfect example of next gen and the combat feels fun and challenging through the entire game. The story is engaging and the collectables are varied enough to not get too repetitive. This game is a must-play.

I have owned both PS5 and Xbox Series X basically since they were released. I've always been team Xbox, but I went ahead and finally got the PS5 to try out the exclusive titles. I enjoyed Spiderman. I wanted God of War to wow me, but it didn't. I still have high hopes for the Horizon games, I just haven't gotten around to them yet. That said, my PS5 has been collecting dust for almost 2 years. I've been enjoying Game Pass and all its offerings, along with other titles on Xbox. Then this past holiday season my son convinced me to get Ghost of Tsushima. I haven't touched my Xbox in the past month. This game is EXCELLENT. The graphics are gorgeous. The story is good. The gameplay is fun. It has some shortcomings, but they are few. Best game I've played in quite a while. I highly recommend this title.

This is one of the best open world games I’ve ever played. The landscape is breath taking, and you can tell the developers loved making this game. The combat is immersive and provides an enjoyable difficulty. You will get lost in this world of samurai/weapon combat and ninja/stealth gameplay. I can’t wait until the next entry in this new IP. Overall, 97/100

Game runs Great on the PS5 and has Beautiful visuals, Combat is fun and addictive and easy to pick up, has a great story that you can play at your own pace while enjoying exploring the open world.

I had not played on ps4, but the ps5 version in 2025 looks beautiful and the game is just amazing. The writing, voice acting, gameplay, design. I love it. Definitely an immersive game that should be played in the dark to enjoy the gorgeous scenery. Absolutely looking forward to getting the sequel once it is out and I'm done with this one.

If you love open-world games with satisfying gameplay loops and compelling single-player stories, this is a MUST PLAY. It also includes a very fun co-operative online Multiplayer mode!

My son plays it more than me; however, love the graphics and the story line. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it.
