This doesn’t have anything too fantastical, it follows history very well, and has a unique story put into that history. Colors are amazing. You’ll spend hours in the amazing photo mode. The action is great. You have so many options on how to approach a battle. AI when sneaking is very low on opponents but that’s being updated soon. Hard mode is really awesome. You switch to different stances based on the enemy you are fighting, you upgrade many suits of armor, you can change their colors by collecting flowers to be used as coloring agents...there’s too much to talk about.
It’s sold out physically in 3 days- 2 million physical copies sold, not including digital so that should say a lot for a new IP. I HIGHLY recommend you get this! Special edition has a cool steel case and some extras which are worth the $10 extra.
I hope you love it too! Come join the many groups on Facebook!

I’m still heavily playing this game right now as there are so many things to do and every bit of it is exciting. The gameplay is easy to grasp and the visuals are breathtaking. The open world concept is a plus that allows you to explore and do as you please or just run through the story line if you wish. Fighting for the honor of your people and saving them from invasion by any means allows us to look deeper into what it means to be samurai during that period or go against the code and secure a peaceful way of life for the Japanese inhabitants.
This is a must buy game for great visuals, gameplay and continuous replay ability.
Please if you order online, chose to go to the store to pick up because UPS as a carrier is horrible. They delayed the delivery of my game and then when it arrived, the box was damaged. Just pick up in store.

Ghost of Tsushima is a Playstation Exclusive game. It is a open world game focusing on Samurai and Ninja style combat with stealth mechanics. You can attack from the shadows or face your opponents head on. The game takes place on the island of Tsushima in Japan. You play as Jin Sakai as he fights back against a Mongol invasion.
The Special Edition comes with extra DLC content and a Steelbook case.

The critics nailed it with this game. It is Assassins Creed on steroids! I love that its set in a real time period, combat is superb! I don't even want to stealth around. Photo mode is the best I have ever seen and the graphics are beautiful. I find myself stopping often to simply enjoy the view. Theres lots of samurai and Japanese tradition in this game and I love the subtle nods to old Japanese film. You do level up but unlike AC as you gain more skill your enemies get more difficult. The yellow bird and the foxes always bring you to some great goodies so don't pass them up. I am truly enjoying this game and after many years waiting I can say it was not only worth the wait but also a great goodbye to the PS4 Era of gaming.

Not enough and very little isn’t enough to speak to the magnificence of this game. The artwork/graphics in this game my mouth dropped for the last Sony produced PS4 game of the year smart move. The combat system is very fluid and visceral at times but it’s true to form of fighting with a katana in old samurai movies. One word of advice you will get sucked into and lost in photo mode fair warning because this games artwork makes you feel like your living in feudal Japan.

Game of the Year 2020 for me. Amazing art style, great story, interesting combat system, decent parkour. This was the first samurai game I’ve ever played and now I’m a huge fan. Got my first platinum with this game. PS exclusives are insane quality. 10/10 recommend. Even got a friend who converted from Xbox to check it out and he’s in love. Excited about the rumors for a sequel

This is definitely something you’d want to grab if you’re interested in an open world game where you play as a samurai. Not only is it living up to the hype, it displays a beautiful 13th century Tsushima. Being a fan of sucker punch is also a plus since they’re the ones that developed this game.

I wouldn't be surprised if this game is not a top contender for game of the year. Massive open world with plenty of hours of gameplay. Good storyline and graphics are great.

I am usually someone who enjoys multiplayer games. However, I love samurai in a historical sense. When I first heard about this game years ago I got excited. This game is fun, beautiful and has options to fit your play style. I haven't wanted to play a game through to the end since the original assassins creed. This might be the one I finish. The cool thing is the weather in the game adapts to your play preference. If you decide to use mainly ghost skills you will start to attract during stormy, rainy and dark times in the game.

Let's just say, I bought a Ps4 solely based on this game and it hasn't disappointed me in any way. By far the best game I've ever played since 1985 when I got an original Nintendo. The beautifully done landscape and Japanese history lessons mixed in with intense combat systems make for a game done so well, I want a follow up already. 5 stars

Sucker Punch delivers another great game. The world is beautiful, yet haunting with all the chaos and dangers around it. Fighting for the island, it's people, family, and conflictions is all part of the story. I spent more time on photo mode and doing side tales but it all is worth it by expanding the story of Tsushima and it's culture, beliefs, and people. Love this game, definitely my pick for game of the year.
