The game can be surprisingly challenging at times on the default difficulty, though. If you want to just experience the story, you might want to play on the easiest setting.

So, in my honest opinion, it was okay. I’ve played the Wii version before and was excited to play this game. For starters, there are some new bosses and some old bosses. The new bosses are quite interesting and fun to fight. Although, the game is missing some of the old bosses that made the game unique. Boss fights are very short and require little to no skill. You could just spam the darts and call it a day. The camera is kind of awkward but great for when you want a steady non moving camera. When looking for ghosts you constantly have to move the camera. When playing the game, you get a lot of the camera cut off from you and you have to go into different modes and press so many different buttons just to achieve the same effect that the Wii or other systems had at default. Moreover, the game is SHORT. A lot of the levels were severely cut in time and you didn’t get the feeling of suspense you had in previous versions. On the bright side, your character is much more visibly interactive and actually shows emotions and reactions with the Ghostbusters. Although it does get awkward at times. One thing to note, in this game, you do not get to interact with as many objects as you do in the older versions. Without spoilers, it is a very much point A to point B type of game without allowing you to do much in terms of exploration. On a side note, it drains the battery FAST. You need to play this one while the switch is plugged in. Overall, it’s alright. It’s a good game and is definitely exciting to play when you’re catching ghosts and seeing new versions of the older levels. The new ghost bosses are slightly harder and are genuinely creepy in a fun type of way. Considering they had to port it to the switch and it’s limited controls compared to previous versions, it was a big success in terms of gameplay. If you’re a newcomer, then by all means try it! It’s a great game for newcomers to the game and especially if you struggle with combat in games. If you want something with a little more content, then get the Wii or PlayStation version of the original. Way more content and a little more fun to play. I prefer the Wii version but this one wasn’t at all bad to play. I had a lot of fun playing this one, I just wouldn’t say it was anything extraordinary though, just average.

This was the second game I bought for my Switch. I love the remastered visuals. Still an awesome game to have.

Ghostbusters Remastered is a great game. Everything I remember about the first one and still a great game. If your a fan of the series and have never played the 1st time around here’s your chance to see what millions of fans have waited for.

This game is quite literally Ghostbusters 3! It's actually written by Harold Ramis and Dan Akroyd! I can not recommend this game enough. So much fun catching ghosts just the way they do it in the movies. Not to mention, Annie Potts, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson all voice their characters. Just get this game okay... it's good.

If you like the original Ghostbusters you will love this game. Love seeing the original cast in the game and lots of fun taking down ghosts.

Imagine if you will, a third Ghostbusters movie, with the originals cast, new improved tech, now imagine being able to take it anywhere as the new recruit for the New York based Ghostbusters. Plays well, improved and gorgeous visuals and a must own for any fan of the GB property

Loved the game when it was on PS3 and now I can take it anywhere on my switch.

Very fun game. Brings you back to 1980s when the movie was released. Easy to play but fun. Graphics are really cool as well. My son and i love this game. I would recommend buying this for any platform.

My son enjoys this games. Here and there some levels are kind of tricky to figure out but with a little help from us he was able to continue to next scene.

I had this game back on the 360. I enjoyed it then and still do. The game is a good price. I just wish it still had the online part.

One night my grandson calls me and asked if I could looked into this game for him. He being my grandson I was obligated to look into acquiring this game for him. I did. I bought it. He is still playing with it. He loves it.

This is the Ghostbusters game the fans wanted for years. It's the closest thing many of us will ever get to being a real Ghostbuster. Originally there was supposed to add multiplayer but even as a solo game its still fun.
