Still a great movie for my kids and grand kids to watch

Love the movie great/classic. Fun for the family!!!!

What can be said about this movie that hasn't already been said? It's a true masterpiece that stands the test of time. One of those movies you can watch over and over again as the story of four men who decide to fight ghosts and save the world from a god's wrath. With a strong cast including Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Sigourney Weaver and Harold Ramis among others, you can't go wrong with "Ghostbusters." Total recommendation.

Such a classic film. Great performances & nostalgia

My kids really love this movie and ask to watch it all the time. The 4k version is good just a little grainy because it is such an old movie. I still love this 4k and it is one of my favorite classics. We will be watching this movie for years to come and would say if you don’t have this one in your collection get it now!

Really grainy with lots of unstable background flashing. Still probably the best cut to date despite this. If you're looking for clean, modern 4k this is not it. It's like watching it in the 80s with all the grain but with a lot better color saturation. Kinda wonder if that was the intent here.

Great movie and great steelbook! I really enjoy this movie and try and watch it at least once or twice every year. All features are here. Menu is good with background music and still shot of crew and the ghostbusters vehicle. Picture and sound are outstanding on the HD Blu-ray. I would highly recommend!

I can watch this movie over and over again. I always get my movies quick.

This movie was made during a time when Hollywood was using inferior film stock when making movies because it was cheaper. Like many movies of this time period, the picture quality isn't as sharp as today's or yesteryear's standards. While this is probably the best quality transfer to date, there aren't many discernible differences between the 4K copy and previous DVD and Bluray copies. If you don't own this movie, buy the 4K version. If you already own this movie, there is no need to upgrade. My copy also had a digital copy code even though it wasn't listed on the packaging.

The combination of Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson is a Dream Team for ghost hunting. Each actor is at the top of their game in this 1984 masterpiece of filmmaking. Ivan Reitman is known for other comedies such as Stripes and Kindergarten Cop but this is by far his career best. Rest assured that Sony Pictures has produced a reference quality disc.

After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become "ghostbusters" to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.

I've loved Ghostbusters for as long as I can remember. I remember seeing it in theaters when it first came out. The picture is not as great as one might expect, but the new Dolby Atmos soundtrack is clear and uses the separate channels well.

This is a Top 10 eighties Classic...Period! Bill Murray is Hilarious! This story is great. The acting is great. The action is great. I watched it with my 5 and 8 y/o Grand-daughters-they could not stop laughing. I thought they would been a little scared; but no. To me the original is the best--but I like the 2nd movie too.

I already had the Ghostbusters Blu-Ray that was "Mastered in 4K" which looked absolutely amazing on my 1080 tv at the time. This looks just as good, and in some areas better, on 4K tv. I would probably only recommend it if you are a huge Ghostbusters fan and/or did not buy the "mastered in 4K" blu-ray a few years back.

"That was your plan? Get her?" Ghostbusters is the film that can be watched today and enjoyed just as much as it was when it was first released in 1984. The Blu-Ray Steelbook is a terrific edition to your DVD collection, with the iconic moment where Ray, Stanz and Egon come in contact with their first REAL ghost, and it sets them on the path to becoming...Ghostbusters. Pick it up!

I am gonna call this impeccable 4K of this classic film. An instant classic, this 4K is incredible with its presentation, sound and visual. This is the definitive edition for this hysterical film

This is a Catcher the Eye style title for me. Every time Ghostbusters is released on a new format I must have it. The picture is glass and the soundtrack, even though I could resight without sound, is great. Definitely recommend.

I grew up with this movie and it is an absolute classic. It looks impeccable in blu-ray. The video is sharp and not very grainy. Obviously it won't be crystal clear but it really enhances the viewing of such a fantastic movie. The steelbook is nice, as well. The digital HD makes it so I can watch it anywhere and although it redeemed for the wrong movie, I contacted Sony pictures, provided proof of purchase, and they were able to fix the issue so I got the right movie. A+++

Look, this is the best movie of all time. And it looks and sounds great here in 4k. If you're wondering: Can I tell the difference in quality in a 35+ year old film? Yes. Absolutely. And it is very worth it.

GHOSTBUSTERS!!! If you havent watch it. Do yourself a favor watch it! Its on the older side of CGI but its incredibly fun to watch. Not to mention unforgettable song. Finally biught it in 4k dolby atmos!
