It has plenty of inputs with 1DP, 2HDMI and USC C display (works with steam deck). It matches the PS5 and Series X options and makes the games pop with the increased fps options (Spiderman PS5 was a huge improvement over the living room tv). Very satisfied with this montior.

I purchased this for the size, and the refresh rate, and it has a built-in KVM switch. I was running a new Mac Mini and a gaming laptop, and with the supplied cables, I could not take advantage of the refresh rate and used 8k cables to get to the 144Hz refresh rate. Plugging the new cables did not go well at all; the monitor went dark and never recovered. Called support -- no joy and returned after only an hour of usage. Actually, thinking of trying it again if I can not find a similar OLED / IPS.

I purchased this product after reading reviews for multiple monitors and tvs. I needed a 4k UHD 40+ inch for gaming and video watching. Freesync works great with nvidia, I'm using a 4090. Make sure to update to the latest firmware for this monitor.
I was on the fence because of some bad reviews from rting, reddit and other sources. Everyone stated to get a LG C2. At the end of the day, I'm glad I didn't purchase a TV. I have no issues with Text reading, some light ghosting but I don't even notice it unless I'm really trying to look for it. Lock your frames at 141 FPS and have at it.
The only issue I have would be sometimes the HDR and Monitor will flicker once after hours of playing. It will show Resolution and HDR on but to honest I think it is a bug with Auto-HDR with Windows 11 when playing in window fullscreen on certain games. This doesn't happen for days, I would have to say it isn't really an issue for me and I enjoy my purchase.
As a side note, if you use HDR1000 you will get flashbanged in real life, sometimes it is hilarious. I would suggest using HDRGame mode and adjust from there if you don't want it as bright. I switch back and forth from HDR1000 and HDRgame mode.

After watching LTT’s review and unboxing videos, I don’t regret shooting my shot for this monitor. It’s huge, color is pretty good for my eyes, and decent for the graphics card i have (3070 Ti). After seeing that every other giant monitors were sold out, this was my only option, and I’m glad it is.

Epic... using on my new build with i9 13900k and Zotac 4090 call of duty mw2 looks amazing running in 4k 248fps. Monitor is extremely sharp and colors look great. This monitor does not get as much reflection like other monitors and i love the remote and the tons of display cables this monitor comes with. The built in speakers sound surprisingly good too! So happy with this purchase.

I wanted to go back to a 4k monitor from a 34" 1440p. This monitor is great once you get use to the size. Great for gaming when playing space sims feel like you are actually siting in a ship vice looking at a little screen.
Was looking at a 32" but this was about the same price with better specs. Can be very bright with HDR so might want to dim it a little. Has some things that could be better as does most things.
Recommend updating the firmware and watching some video and recommended settings since some are not oblivious where they are located.

I got this monitor when it was on sale, but it's definitely a great value even not on sale. It was originally connected to a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080, and now it is connected to a brand new RTX 3090 Ti I got yesterday. In Elden Ring, with the graphic settings set to "maximum" and HDR turned on, the picture is sharp without even a hint of blurring or lagging. The monitor is running at 144 hz, and the game on the 2080 was over 100 fps at 4k resolution with the DisplayPort. HDMI is limited to 60 hz, so if you buy this monitor plan to use DP instead of HDMI.
I have the monitor sitting about 5 feet away from my head while I sit in a recliner. That's my normal work arrangement. I've seen reviews that say text is not as clear on this monitor, but I haven't seen any indication of that. I have significantly less eyestrain now compared to the 42" 4k tv I was using as a monitor before. The screen is a matte finish so there is no glare even in light coming from the northern facing windows in my office. One thing I will say, though, is that I prefer to play Elden Ring at night because HDR makes the shadows more nuanced. It is definitely bright enough to play during the day. I just seem to get killed a little less often at night because I can see things sneaking up on me better.
This is my first monitor which has a USB cable going to the computer in order to change settings on the monitor. Go to the Gigabyte website to download the OSD SideKick utility. There is very little you can change using the buttons on the monitor or the remote control, so if you want to tweak the settings, you'll need to use the utility. There is another app called "RGB Fusion 2.0" which will let you tweak the color spectrum if you are working with photos or video.
I love this monitor and highly recommend it.

The Gigabyte Aorus FV43U 43" Monitor is incredible - just what my home office needed. I was so thrilled I bought a second for the job trailer because now 24" monitors are JUST TOO SMALL! High price tag but stepping up to 43" is a world of difference!

Out of the box the monitor is pretty well calibrated. The colors are vivd and the monitor is very bright. HDR works well and the 4k resolution is crisp. There are a lot of things to like about this monitor.

This is a good monitor, overall, a solid 4 stars. A couple of months ago, I would have given it a much lower rating and I was even contemplating returning. That was before the recent firmware update that pretty much solved all of the issues I was having. Before the update, the monitor would not wake from sleep when connected using an HDMI cable. I had to use the included remote and power off and back on when waking my PC from sleep mode. A switch to Display Cable fixed this issue, but according to Gigabyte, this has been addressed in the recent update. I also had an issue with my display switching back to SDR from HDR randomly. This was frustrating as the brightness also needed to be adjusted constantly by manually switching HDR on and off. However, ever since upgrading the firmware all of these issues have disappeared. The only minor behavior that remains, which is also well documented by other reviewers, is the ghosting of text while dragging windows or scrolling through documents or text in a web browser. This is not really a huge deal for me but I did take away one star for that. Otherwise, this is a solid monitor for productivity. I use it as my primary monitor while working from home and it works well for that. I also use for gaming and this is where this monitor truly shines! HDR brilliance in 4K is truly awesome! 144Mhz refresh rate also makes this monitor perfect for gaming. If I only gamed with this monitor I would give it 5 stars plus, post the recent firmware updates. Glad I kept it!

Awesome PC Gaming Monitor

Now that I've had it for a couple of weeks and used it extensively, time for the review.
I purchased this for exclusively PC use over display port, and this does not disappoint. SDR and HDR games look awesome, with great blacks, contrast, and incredible color.
FF7 Remake with Reshade and this monitor and the HDR rocks.
According to other professional reviews (rtings and Toms hardware) the hdmi 2.1 ports aren't full speed so console gaming will not be as good. However, if PC gaming is your thing, this monitor should be near the top of your list.

If you’ve researched this monitor, you’ve probably seen the reddit threads about dead pixels and odd color correction. Both are sadly true. Monitor is bright but thats about it. Couldnt get past the cluster of dead pixels dead center. I understand it’s a budget monitor but dead pixels aren’t ok.
