I bought the Gigabyte K6 just two days ago, and I’m very disappointed. The screen randomly blacks out and shows the Windows update symbol — this has already happened three times. It seriously disrupts usage and suggests a major stability issue right out of the box. On top of that, the sound quality is terrible. It feels like I’m listening through a phone call or cheap headphones — definitely not what I expected from a modern laptop. My 5 yrs ago laptop Asus Tuf is better than it. Given these repeated problems in such a short time, I’ve decided to return it. I can’t recommend this laptop based on my experience.

This computer is awesome! I originally bought it for $1200 and then the price went down to $1000! Best Buy had not problems price matching for me and for $1000 this computer is well worth it!

I thought 32gb of ram and a dedicated video card would be enough, I was editing some photos and suddenly the screen just went black, I thought it was hibernating or some screen saver, I pressed the keys thinking it was some screen saver, but nothing, I just had to kill it, hold down the power button and turn it back on, this is the second time this has happened to me, I'm going to return it and I definitely think I'm going to have to go buy a macbook and stop using windows and its problems.

I've been working with it for 3 weeks now, so far it's going very well, aesthetically nice.

Met my expectations. It has good specs. Kids can play any game they want with no problem.

This laptop gave me the BSOD every other restart when trying to install mandatory windows updates. Then after I stopped fight with the updates (one stubbornly refuses to install) I tried to update the Nvidia drivers; only to see every install attempt fail. THEN when I finally had enough i attempted to reset the pc to factory fresh; that failed multiple times as well! Mind you this is all happening with the first 24 hours of ownership, and due to these issues I havent even attempted to install software on it yet.

Love this computer more than my Mac. Great for gaming and office work!

Dows everything I need it for. Multitasking Gaming videos. Great for the price.
