The GIGABYTE G6 KF 16in Gaming Laptop has a 16-inch LED display with a 165Hz high refresh rate IPS screen of 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Pictures, videos, gaming reproductions and text look very sharp and bright on the display. It is not a touch screen panel. It uses a 150W power supply with a coaxial power plug; it's not possible to power this notebook via a USB C input. The notebook weighs 5.07 lbs and does not denote it is a gaming machine in appearance but looks like a black business computer. It packs an internal Lithium-Ion 54Wh sized battery. It arrives with Microsoft Windows 11 Home which installed several updates in the first few days I used the laptop. It is matte black finish and the keyboard can be color selected using the Gigabyte application of among 16 color choices. I chose the dark yellow for contrast. It is equipped with a 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor. This unit had the Intel i7 13620H CPU of 4.9 Ghz speed clock; it has 10 cores of which 6 are P-core and 4 are E-core. It has 32 GB of DDR5 4800Mhz RAM and is capable of accepting up to 2x 32 GB SO-DIMM modules for a total of 64 GB RAM. The motherboard has room for 2X SSD Gen4 M.2 modules. The model I reviewed is equipped with 1 Terabyte of SSD M.2. It has another slot for a second M.2 module to the left of the main installed slot. In total it supports up to 4 TB. Video is powered by Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 with 8GB DDR6 dedicated RAM which can support 4K and 8K displays via HDMI or Displayport with the unit having both of those ports on the back. Audio is produced by DTS: X™ Ultra which brings true 3D surround effect and the voice communication is clear with Two-Way AI Noise Cancelation per Gigabyte. When connected to external speakers the sound is very good. It has Dolby Atmos. The built-in speakers are 2 watts each. There is a web cam of 720p resolution utilizing IR with a FN key on/off switch but no shutter. There are 2 microphones adjacent to the camera. WiFi is Intel based 6E and Bluetooth is version 5.2. The G6 KF is also equipped with the WINDFORCE cooling technology, which helps keep the laptop cool even during high-load game playing or under multimedia processing. The fans are almost silent when not gaming and barely noisy when involved in competition. As with most laptops, one must not use the unit on sheets, blankets, sofas or other surfaces which will not allow air to flow in from the bottom since this will affect CPU and GPU cooling. Twin fans pull air in from the bottom panel and out through the back vents and should not be obstructed with anything that produces excess lint or dust. Great Laptop. Great Price. Easy purchase. The backlit keyboard makes evening work a breeze. The screen is vivid and does not attract finger prints. 3 hours of use running auto cad.

I'm just now really getting started with this laptop as I have several overall Tech issues to rectify 1st, but so far-- great during this past couple of weeks. If I had more time with it-it might be a "5"
