Amazing! I was skeptical on how much more vibrant a IPS monitor would be, but I am very happy with my purchase and cannot recommend this monitor more!

It’s been aroud 2-3 months since I got this monitor and it is such a good monitor. Colors are great. The only thing I don’t like is that my other monitor is not the same as this one.

    Terrible Quality Control

I received this monitor on July 10th and initially the screen looked great after tweaking a few settings on the monitor. However, after about 3 days I noticed my first dead pixel which is in a very visible spot which was definitely a bummer. I foolishly decided to not return the monitor at the time as I figured if it was only one I could deal with it, but more and more dead pixels have appeared within the month I have owned it. At the time of writing this interview there are about 5 dead pixels on the screen at any time and quite a few more depending upon the colors shown, maybe ~7-10 total. I really enjoyed the specs of the monitor for playing games and entertainment use but am losing that enjoyment every day as more and more dead pixels show up. I am incredibly disappointed with how this product has degraded on me over the short 4 weeks I have had it, and man does it feel terrible to know I cannot return the product at this point and effectively wasted $340+. At this rate I'm sure 100s more dead pixels will be on the screen by this time next year. I hope others will have better luck but I'd be skeptical to buy another gigabyte monitor for sure. I've attached two pictures of the most visible dead pixels but they're kind of hard to photograph.

I got 3 monitors one of them was bad it has a dark line from top to bottom that appears suddenly at anytime, I thought it was the cables, then the video card, the drivers, when I tried to change it for one that works the 14 days policy from Bestbuy was over. So now I have a monitor that it's not even a month old that has to be fixed, Gigabyte won't change it for a new one I tried to explain Bestbuy the situation, seems like talking to a wall.

Light Leaks & Janky KVM switch

I am here to echo the other reviews! Just spend the extra money to get a higher-quality monitor. I bought this and had light leaks almost instantly. It isn't noticeable on day-to-day use, but with games where the screen is darker, it is noticeable. The KVM switch is also finicky- it doesn't always switch when you need- you have to toggle it a few times.

I purchased this monitor based off my friends recommendations and great reviews. I brought it home set it up, then ran a dead pixel test and found 4-5 dead pixels in the middle of the screen, so I went ahead, returned to a store and exchanged it for a new one and that arrived about 6 days later. I set up the replacement monitor and same thing again 3-4 dead pixels in the middle of the screen. So i returned it and went to amazon and bought a LG monitor instead.

First monitor had a pixel die within a week. Going to return and buy another one and hope for the best. Apparently reviews say dead pixels on these seem to happen more often then they should.

While the monitor works it is nice to use. Brightness is good and color is nice even if the HDR isn't any good. But Gigabyte support is of no use and the monitor just stopped working out of nowhere for a week.

The monitor I got refuses to display at 2560 x 1440. 170 Hz. Why? I'm not sure but a quick google search shows that I am no the only one with this issue. If only I knew.

This monitor is an absolute steal for the price. The picture quality is noticeably better than the 2 1080p HP 25X monitors I have it sandwiched between. I can easily tell the difference in picture quality. The fact that it has an IPS panel at this price point is also a huge plus. Not many monitors can pack 1440p, 170Hz, 0.5ms response time, and an IPS panel for less than $500 - let alone at the $329.99 price that I got it at. Could not recommend this monitor enough.

An Excellent Budget Monitor (After a False Start)

I recently built a new computer, and I was looking for a monitor for 1440p gaming. I was slightly apprehensive about this model since there aren’t a ton of reviews for it online, but it was on sale and I gave it a go. The first one I received had a series of cracks in the panel which I noticed when I unboxed it. However, Best Buy replaced it quickly and painlessly. Concerning the monitor itself: It has a fast refresh rate, it’s VRR capable, and (after adjustment) the color palette is pretty good. It is a bit on the “warm” side, especially next to the Dell monitor I use for productivity, but it does have quite a few color presets that run the gamut. The KVM switch is incredibly useful if you (like me) want to hook it up to two computers and control them through a single set of peripherals. It might take a bit of guesswork to work out all the kinks (and while the monitor’s menus are quite good, Gigabyte’s software is somewhat worthless), but it’s really great if you have a separate computer that will share this monitor. For right around $300 this is a really exceptional monitor!

I use this monitor for 1) my work laptop 2) my gaming pc and 3) my PS5. I have no issues with it while using my computers. I’ve seen other buyers have issues with lighting around the edges of their units but either mine doesn’t have the issue or it’s just unnoticeable. My PS5 graphics don’t look as good as I would have hoped but that’s probably because I haven’t bothered to calibrate it for my PS5. You can customize settings for different profiles and quickly switch between profiles using the menu knob behind the monitor. My one gripe with this monitor is the placement of the menu knob (behind the monitor, lower right-hand side). I wish they had positioned it lower towards the bottom of the screen so that I could just curl a finger underneath rather than awkward stick my entire hand under and around the back, feeling for the knob. One of the nifty features of this monitor is supposed to be the KVM switch, but I haven’t had the chance to use it yet. At $330, I don’t think you’ll have much buyer’s remorse with this monitor - it’s fantastic and gets the job done. If you can get it for below $300, I’m not sure if this could beat.

Bang for buck one of the best monitors. I used for my Xbox series X. The refresh rate is good and it's 2K, which is decent. For the price, I couldn't pass it up. There are better monitors, but you'll definitely pay for it. You can also have multiple devices plugged into it, and KVM to switch which display source you wish to use.

4.5 Stars - it's not a perfect monitor, but it's pretty darn good. Out of the box colors are crisp and accurate to my eye. Blacks are a bit lacking, but some tweaking will drop them into an acceptable level of inkiness. Some people claim the reverse BGR subpixel layout makes text blurry or smeary - I say those people need to have their eyes checked - text is clear enough for gov't work, and running the windows clear text tool will sharpen it up as much as you like. I bought two of these to mount on a desk, so I'm not using the stand, but the stand goes together quickly and easily with no tools needed and seems more than stable enough. Mounting to my monitor arms was as simple as 4 little screws straight into the rear of the monitor. The KVM function works fantastically if you have a USB-C enabled laptop or PC alongside another machine with standard USB. The only downfall here is that the USB-C does not provide enough power to charge a laptop, even one as dainty as my XPS 13 (it'll charge a phone or tablet just fine). Was hoping for a real 'single-cable' solution to be able to hook the laptop up, but it looks like I still need secondary power here. The OSD and the supplementary software to change the menu via the PC rather than the monitor's joystick are deeply customizable - but lacking in a whole lot of instruction. It would be nice if there was some documentation or tool-tips to explain changes instead of having to experiment - but that's a 1st-world problem for a monitor with so much capability. My 2080ti powers the two of these at full 170hz without a problem through nearly all tasks, including lighter gaming. COD Warzone at full 1440p with everything at it's highest settings drops sub 100 fps, but it's still a solid experience. Overall, this has to be one of the best bang-for-your-buck high-refresh 1440p monitors, and the fact that it's an IPS panel is just a huge bonus. Add in the KVM and the value here at $329 is killer.

The first one I bought had a dead pixel. It's a lottery with all monitors. Fortunately, I return and ordered another one that was flawless. Great picture quality, slim and simple design. The KVM feature is amazingly convenient switch between my PC and macbook. My only gripe is the manual wasn't clear on how to use the KVM feature. I had search many websites to finally understand why my mouse and keyboard wasn't working when I switched monitors.

Great monitor for the price ($330). Lots of light bleed, but it is an IPS panel. The KVM works with a USB-C (monitor) to USB-A (laptop) cable and HDMI for my older work laptop. Display port, HDMI, and USB-B to A (KVM) cables included. If the monitor had speakers, 5 stars.

Excellent monitor for the price if you can get it on sale. It's probably the best budget 1440p high refresh rate monitor you can get. It doesn't officially support G-Sync but I managed to get it working with no issues. The HDR is alright but you get what you get for the price.

Wife bought this for me from BB, over all it performs great. The only problem was that it had a lot of light bleed, and I mean A LOT. I thought I could ignore it but turns out I couldn’t, I had to return it. If not for the light bleed I would have kept it, it performs well.
