Way better than expected It had a really bright color options and the IPS panel makes everything pop so well. 170hz doesn’t feel much different from 144hz but it’s still nice to have. I hear the HDR sucks on it I used it and it seemed to work fine it’s just not up to par with anything else. For a budget 1440p high refresh monitor definitely a steal.

Good monitor, especially handy with the KVM switch. My only complaint is the strange choice to use BGR vs RGB. Caused text to look blurry and I ended up returning for the LG ultragear.

Probably the best 1440p 170hrtz monitor you can get at the price. Rating 4 out of 5 because blacks are often grey on this screen.

A really good monitor, looks good and performs well, as well as many adjustable settings, although i didn’t realize it wouldn’t come with a speaker built in which is my mistake, otherwise love this monitor.

Didn't notice any distracting defects upon turning it on myself. It's definitely excellent for gaming (so smooth!), and equally excellent for watching videos/streaming since the colors seem super accurate and vibrant (but not overly so).

Arrived in good condition, no blemishes or issues with the screen, so far so good with no dead pixels and excellent quality picture. Really enjoying the KVM feature to switch between inputs and automatically switch my connected keyboard and mouse from my gaming desktop to my work laptop.

Very solid 1440p monitor. I also wanted 144+ hz, and this fit the bill. Havent had any issue with the color or anything, and just adjusted vibrance and stuff within Nvidia control panel to my liking. No complaints here.

To many small issues, better screens for same $$$

I like the KVM feature and the image quality is good if it works. For about a year I had only some small annoyance issues, For example; 1. KVM sometimes doesn't detect the second computer attached. I'd have to turn the screen on/off and reinsert the cable . 2. Once or twice a day the screen on usb-c goes off for a second and then comes back. 3. Color/brightness can no longer be changed in the different profile (like the gaming modes). Then I decided to "fix" these problems.... biggest mistake ever. Now none of the profiles besides standard work. As soon as Freesync or black equalizer (which are key selling points for this screen) is on the screen flickers no matter what combination of settings use. Overall I which I would have bought the alternative Samsung/LG rather than having the (in)convenience of the sometimes working KVM.

    Great Value and Clean Aesthetic

I love the aesthetic of the monitor with its relatively simple and clean design and minimal bezels. The monitor can fit onto a desk with limited space. I’ve noticed a small issue with the display being slightly slanted as if the stand isn’t supporting the display properly and I’m not sure if that’s a quality control issue or a shipping mishap but it’s tolerable for me. Love the value that I get from the monitor. The KVM feature is a hit or miss. I don’t really make the most use of it, but I wouldn’t make your purchase decision exclusively based on the fact it has a KVM. Would highly recommend!

All in all, the Gigabyte M27Q is an excellent gaming monitor for the price. It boasts a fast IPS panel with exceptional Adobe RGB gamut coverage (and a provided sRGB mode), which is unprecedented at this price range.

Great SDR monitor - ehhhhhhh HDR monitor - 1 big c

First off - this monitor is BGR subpixel layout - if you do a lot of text reading for webpages or coding - flip this monitor upside down when installing in its stand and that will fix the issue. If all you do is game and watch videos, you might not notice the problem so might not need to do this. This monitor (when flipped to RGB subpixel layout) is a great SDR monitor @ 170hz = HDR 400 playback is eh things like lasers and neon lights get bright and pop like real HDR, but there's no local dimming so the rest of the screen just looks cranked in brightness and washed out. Don't get this with the intention of HDR, just as an SDR monitor.

For the price, it is a really good monitor. Its 170hhz refresh rate which is awesome, good enough color range for gaming and school work. The integrated hub is a great bonus that ultimately pushed me to buy this monitor.

Came with a defective displayport cable

It's fine, I'm terrible at noticing these things without a side by side comparison. Mostly here to warn you all that a good chance the displayport cable it comes with is defective. If you put it at or near max settings as in 1440p 170hz, the higher the chances the screen will turn off. As in, if the cable isn't perfectly in a specific position, or it moves where it is connected to the video card, it'll turn off. The worse the position, it'll turn off several times an hour. So just buy a good quality cable. It worked for me.

Great monitor for the being an midrange 1440p 144hz IPS. Would be careful though, The one I got had some a bit of backlight bleed and I may return it because of that.

One year in and I still love it! 170hz/1440p is perfect, not too demanding but also great quality. KVM works great. Next to no IPS glow. Color isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty darn good.

Excellent 1440p monitor. I've purchased 3 of these so far and haven't had any issues. They do have backlight bleeding. But not unusable. Backlight bleed is just normal these days. Runs great, excellent quality and I couldn't be happier.
