Coming from samsung 4k g70a. This gigabyte m28u is better in almost every way. So many options to adjust picure to your liking. They are about the same on smoothness but i think the m28u has better colors and sharpness and is a little brighter after you adjust to your liking. You might have to update monitor to most recent firmware so a laptop or pc will be needed for that. Only four stars because hdr is only vesa 400. Vesa 600 would have been better

The monitor does exactly what it intends to do. It has 144hz and has 4k for PS5 and for PC. Sadly my PC can't handle 144hz on 4k options since its a Nvidia 2060 SUPER but nonetheless works perfectly with no problems.

Amazing monitor for the price, this works flawlessly with PS5 and Xbox series x, just wish it had an extra HDMI to be able to connect a Nintendo switch. The picture by picture functionality is amazing!

I was looking for a monitor to use with my PC and my PS5. PC is connected via DisplayPort. Pictures looks amazing and performance was equally good. Depending on you GPU frames per second up to 144 is possible. PS5 is connected by HDMI with the PS5 set to performance mode. Games that support 120 frames per second perform great. The on screen controls are about on par with other monitors, nothing great or bad, just gets the job done. And there is no light bleed something rare with monitors these days. Beautiful picture and performance. And the price is excellent.

Monitor was great until it started turning off by itself mid use. Power consumption is crazy compared to other monitors.

Color accuracy and panel uniformity on my unit was sub-par to the point that right half of the screen appeared warm and the left half appeared cool. I also noticed a small amount of input lag when using the USB-C display mode with a Macbook Pro which is irritating over prolonged sessions. Gets 3 stars for the excellent value, high refresh rate performance and KVM switch. Just be cautious of panel lottery.

Bought for my ps5 because it has hdmi 2.1. Good quality out of the box but had to tweak with the settings to get it just right. No matter what game it looks amazing and its @120HZ

Great monitor for my Xbox series X. 4K looks amazing at 120hz. 2.1 hdmi plus 1ms and HDR best monitor out for the price. Others in its league are hundreds of dollars more.

Highly recommend this monitor. Lots of customizable settings to optimize the graphics of what you’re using it for. Spent a lot of time researching inexpensive monitors that have hdmi 2.1 capability and this has delivered. Glad I didn’t have to spend top dollar to get top dollar performance. I watched it for a long time before I could actually get it so if you’re thinking about it - get it before it’s gone again!

Best monitor I’ve owned. Had to buy it when it went on sale and it’s been worth it. Great picture quality.

Purchased to use with my xbox series x. 4k and 120hZ are great, but in order to get to any settings (brightness, contrast, gamma, etc.) you have to install the unusable Sidekick software. Returned after 2 days for a Samsung G7

I can see why this monitor was rated in such high regard by the guys at hardware unboxed. It has remained on the list of best 4K monitors for the price range and features for several reviews of the top gaming monitors in a row now. Very happy with this purchase used both on the PS5 and PC. Great color range, speed and 4K in this class of performance. Gigabyte shines again!

Solid 4K monitor, I found it on sale for $475 and man it’s night and day compared to my 1440p monitor

Best value 4k 144hz monitor on the market currently. Image really pops and I haven't had any latency issues. The HDR rating is ok. Could be better but for the price you're not going to find better. Very happy with the quality Should only be considered if you have a build that can perform at 4k AND 144hz. If your specs can't hit that then you're wasting your money. Look at a lower res 144hz monitor
