Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti's performance, cooling capabilities, and quiet operation, frequently citing high frame rates and ease of installation. However, some customers note the card's large size and high price as drawbacks. The RGB lighting features also received mixed reviews. While many appreciate the improved performance in games and various resolutions, the power consumption was a concern for some users.

This graphics card is extremely capable. Forget the hype about getting the best the prices are not worth it. If you need to play 4k games with attracting this card can do it. I ended up returning it and putting back my MSI 3070 triple ocx. The card gets hot which was one of the main reasons I wanted to get the 4070ti which is practically under deepfreeze the fans never spin and the card never gets hot. If the card was $599 or they had a 4070 for $499 I would have gotten the 4070. $699 is too much for a graphics card these days unless you’re making money on twitch or something there is no point in spending almost an entire stack on a “mid-high tiered” graphics card. You can find them priced better elsewhere. Still haven’t gone back but my experience with it was all games on extreme settings at up to 4096x3160p with easy 60-120 frames per second including call of duty mw, cyberpunk 2077, warno, and now that forza has come out I want to upgrade to a 4070 not 4070 ti. Never had a problem with the card everything functioned faster and it seems that with a msi-meg 390z 32gb of ddr5 ram and intel core i9-12900k cooled by Corsair Icue 3 fans water cooler whatchamacallit h350i? In a Be Quiet dark 900 tower the gpu I have is the only thing slow according to passmark and it’s still hitting in the 92nd percentile. With the 4070-ti I saw that go up to 96th-98th percentile passmark performance which is an immense improvement. Impressed not worth the money.

Great card. Runs all games at max settings on 1440p resolution. Paired with a Ryzen 7600x and 32GB RAM on an MSI Mag B650 motherboard. Played Dying Light 2, Diablo 4 beta, Fortnite, Tiny Tina’s Wondeand, and some older titles. All ran flawlessly. The card out of the box overclocks itself to over 2900mhz. Never gets past 60-65c. Runs cool. This card replaced my 3080 founders edition that went into a second PC that needed an upgrade. This 4070ti is about 20% faster in the games I tried. Note that other reviews are correct about the size- it’s huge. Just over 13” long and it’s very wide. My case is 8” wide and this barely fit with the power cable.

I upgraded from a 2070 Super, if I'm being honest I only got this because I found a steal on an open-box item. With that said this is a beast of a card for being in the mid-range of the 40 series and from a 10 or 20 series like I had this is a pretty big jump in performance, I already played all my games in 1440/Maxed out settings and got respectable FPS now I'm getting almost nearly double that in some titles, and I'm playing games that are using the UE5 or current Unity engine. I also code a lot and I'm running some AI stuff locally and this card just pushes through it all. The three fan setup allows the GPU to stay in a pretty solid temp range which allows for some great opportunities to overclock it even further! Highly recommend.

Runs great like the rgb even like how it has a silent switch on it, haven’t had a problem with it and it is pretty big but it runs cool and does great for fps and overall performance I am happy with what I purchased

I bought this open box, it’s a little overpriced at regular price at $100 more than the 4070 ti starting price. It runs very cool, even stress testing it stays in the mid 60s, and during gaming it’s in the high 50s or low 60s. It boosts to 2880 stock and stays there all day in games like starfield, much more than the advertised 2640. There is almost no overclocking headroom though, I was only able to get another 45mhz over stock. It has two fan curves built on that you can change with a switch. I left it on the default one and even gaming it’s quieter than my AIO fans. It’s silent in light loads as the fans turn off. It’s plenty quiet for me, but it can go even quieter in the quiet fan curve.

I purchased this item to replace a 3070 I had. There was nothing wrong with the 3070, but it was time for an upgrade. I am incredibly pleased that I did. This graphics card is a beast and allows me to be able to have all of my games at epic viewing which is a HUGE thing for me. I do recommend that you measure your case before purchasing as it is a very big graphics card. I barely got it to fit into my machine. However, if you want a powerhouse that runs quiet, this is the one for you. Price is good, item is good.

This graphics card, tbh, is complete overkill for my rig. But you know what, it's and excellent piece of hardware. I plugged it in and my PC seems to have warped into a completely new device. It's a huge card and barely fit my case (I had a 3060ti, previously). It was snug and filled out pretty much the last of the empty space I had. My monitors came to life and they somehow looked clearer? This card is the iron man of cards.

Been a great card for gaming at 1440p, I am not completely maxed on settings for BO6 and getting in the 120 fps range. Good for mining too when you lower the power limit.

I got this as an open-box. It looks and functions perfectly. It's strong enough to run my HP Reverb at native resolution with AMS2 on medium settings. It performs about as well as my old 3080 Ti FTW3 (maybe a little better) but it's more efficient. I know it's luck-of-the draw, but my sample of this 4070Ti has no audible coil wine. It's a good card, if you can get it at a discount, but there are better options (4070 TI Super) at the $800-ish MSRP.

I recently purchased the Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti OC, it's an absolute powerhouse. As a gamer, I'm always on the lookout for the latest and greatest tech to upgrade my setup, and this card did not disappoint. First off, the performance is truly impressive. I can run all of my favorite games at the highest settings with ease, and the visuals are stunning. The 12GB memory and PCI Express 4.0 make for incredibly fast speeds, so I never have to worry about lag or stuttering during intense gameplay. The card is also built to last. The cooling system keeps it from overheating, and the sturdy construction feels like it could withstand a lot of wear and tear. Plus, the RGB lighting is, not fancy but a nice touch that adds some flair to my setup. Overall, I would highly recommend the Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti to any serious gamer who wants top-of-the-line performance and a reliable, durable product. So, in my opinion, this card is definitely a solid investment and not something you'll regret spending your hard-earned money on.

2080ti to 4070ti it is an amazing card, I get lower latency in games and way higher fps.. I have a cube case and it barely fits in I had to remove the motherboard/pc case usb 3.0 connector to even fit it inside!

I recently upgraded to the RTX 4070 Ti and I’m absolutely thrilled with its performance. For 1440p gaming, this card is a powerhouse, delivering ultra-smooth frame rates and incredible detail. The implementation of DLSS 3 and AV1 encoding really enhances the gaming experience, making every moment feel immersive. While it may not be the best for 4K, for my needs at 1440p, it’s more than sufficient. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but for the performance it delivers, I find it to be a worthy investment. Highly recommend for serious gamers looking for a top-tier 1440p experience!

Upgrading from a 2070 and was looking at what I needed for decent 4k gaming with generally maxed-out settings. Was considering a 4090 or 4080, but the price was steep. I took a chance on the 4070 Ti and it turns out to work very well for what I need it to do. For playing single-player games at max-ish settings on 4k it holds a solid 30 fps min and is typically between 50-80 on most games. Overall, very glad I got this instead of a more pricey model. The cost per FPS just wasn't worth it. Note that the install is a little tricky with a card this huge. There is a support arm that has to be attached to some motherboard attachment points to make sure the card is secure.

I'm running this GPU in my new PC build with a ryzen 9 7900x and 64gb of ram. The card itself is long, so make sure that your case has enough clearance to fit the card, especially if you're running a front mounted AIO. The card has worked extremely well and I've been using it to game, stream, and record my streams on the same desktop. I've been able to run all games I've played so far on max graphics at 1440p while using the nvenc encoder on the card for my streams and recording. Benchmarks have shown it to be faster than 95% of other 4070tis running 3Dmark and PCMark.

I am rating this a 5 for 1 specific reason. And it because of the fact that is just upgraded from two 980ti graphics cards and the performance of this graphics card for what I normally daily drive it for it’s impressive power enough to play many of my game @3840/2160 and some at 2160/1440 so I do recommend. Just a small down side it’s the price but neither the less it’s a great card to run many games at 1440 at over 60frames and one additional bonus to the card it come with a awesome and strong build quality and support bracket for anti sag so that’s a plus in my books

this card is a beast for 1440p gaming. I’ve thrown everything from Cyberpunk 2077 to Baldur’s Gate 3 at it, and it rarely breaks a sweat. With ray tracing on and DLSS 3 enabled, I’m getting 80-100 fps in Cyberpunk at max settings, which feels like witchcraft compared to my old GTX 1070. The difference in visual fidelity—those reflections, shadows, and lighting—is jaw-dropping. Games like Forza Horizon 5 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales are buttery smooth, pushing 120-140 fps without compromising on quality.
