Great card so far. Stays SUPER cool. Uses very little power. Basically in pure rasterization it's a 3080 12Gb that uses 60% as much power and only costs $600. DLSS 3 pushes it well past 3080 performance and is honestly amazing. I thought the added ~10miliseconds of input lag from DLSS 3 would be noticeable but it really isn't for a non-competitive gamer like me. oh and it just uses a regular 6+2 pin PSU power cable. Good deal overall.

Definitely the bang for your buck kind of card. Pulls 200w or less, and is just under the power of a 3090 while costing a lot less. The frame generation feature is top tier.

This GPU is pretty awesome! i first used it for 1080P gaming, and man it was super fast, and everything didn't drop, i decided to get a 1440P Monitor for Black Friday, and at 1440P it delivers such amazing frames. paired with my 5800X3D. This GPU Crushes any game with ease, DLSS, and Raytracing are amazing as well. Coming from a 6700XT this was a major improvement, specially when i stream.

I decided it was time to build a better pc that could benefit from all the latest tech. When choosing a graphics card i wanted to take advantage of all the new dlss 3.0 tech. Ray traycing and frame gen. I needed a card that didnt break me totally but could hold its own on triple 27s or a large 4ktv and remain playable at close to or exceeding 120hz at 4k and 165hz at 1440p. I wanted the options that allowed me freedom to play at high fps or turn on all the goodies and just have a awe factor as i beheld the vast landscape of cyberpunks world or the bright vivid hdr filled world of Ratchet and clank. The scenic vistas of chernobyl etc.. I almost bought a 4070ti but decided to try this card. I didnt need any rgb on the card because i have enough insude and outside my case allready to light up broadway. I just wanted a card that would meet my expectations that my series x and PS5 couldnt. Well after loading games onto my new rig that included a 7700x and a capellix 360mm from corsair i can without a doubt verify that this card despite only having 12gb of vram only had to have the settings reduced for The last of us as it take more than 12gb of vram to max it out at 4k. Every other game i tested was like i had played it for the first time. Briight vivid and after a while i didnt need to have the fps and gpu cpu constantly on screen. I was able to just play. No extreme drops or dips in framerates. The Gigabyte windforce 4070 has exceeded my expectations. I was going to return it and save a little more and get the 4070ti super but after using this card for 2 weeks solid and having zero issues i felt that a higher tier card would have diminishing returns. As games get bigger and use more vram i may have to upgrade again but for now i am very pleased with this card and highly reccomend this to anyone wanting a solid gpu that can rock at 1440p and hold its own evn at 4k. I have a library of around 1200 games and no that isnt a typo. Even games that dont use dlss or raytracing still play incredibly well. For $529.00 i feel it was money well spent.

This card was bought to be a placeholder until I could get the card I wanted. To my surprise it has been so good that it is now the gpu I will be using full time. Has enough vram to run all the games I play and all in 1440p. These titles include MW3, Pax Dei, SoulMask and most impressively Star Citizen. Gigabyte has never failed me, I use their M.2’ and MB’s, and will continue to use those products, great card.

Was not bad...my only complaint was price per vram. I returned and got an rx7900...20 gig vram. Price matched for only 40 bucks over this one... yes i know ...ray tracing right? Yes rtx is awesome...i can stil ru. RT with better future proofing on a faster card.

3080 tier performance and even better in a lot of cases with frame generation and dlss 3.0. More importantly for me, it runs cool and no longer heats up my room like the rtx 3080 which is like running a small heater. The switch from my 3080 to the 4070 was definitely worth it to me

It's ok. Upgraded from 2070super. Cool temps and not as big as other 40 series cards. Overpriced a bit but that's the new norm I guess.

This is an excellent graphic card for the price, just finished my PC build that totaled $1700 and I couldn’t be happier. I did absolutely no RGB to put more into performance and it was worth it. I have a Core i7-12700k and 32gb of DDR5 @ 6000mhz and I can run Valorant multiplayer at 400 fps. In the range (single player) it does 700-900 fps!!!

Was a huge step up from my 1650ti laptop GPU and performs well while staying very quiet and cool. However, at $600 it isn’t a compelling choice over previous gen AMD cards, but this really comes down to NVIDIA

upgraded from a very reliable RTX 2080ti. Price to performance is excellent, I can play almost any game at high-epic settings on a 34" monitor. The driver support for the 4070 has been very helpful as well, it's almost every other day that there is a driver update that helps out the performance. Runs cool and quiet. Recommend!

Possibly one of the best more affordable worth it 40 series cards on the market. 12gb of VRAM is extremely useful, overclocking is a breeze, and for a 360mm card, this is most definitely one of the best options if you’re looking for a 4070!
