Great card, using four of them for AI work. They work well together on a Super Micro H12SSL, 512gb ram and EPYC 7713.

Have had this card a little over a year now. Easily overclocks to 3000mhz 600w card. Some 4090’s are not.

This was a very expensive purchase, but with 100+ frames per second on even the most demanding games is worth it!

Im giving it a 1 star because of my experience and the build quality of the card that i got. Thermals were great. But unfortunately this card looked like it wasn’t made correctly, the PCB had paint marks on it and the card itself looked like it was bent. Didn’t want to risk it and ended up returning it. Also i he packaging is terrible, i expect the box to be in good shape and wrapped in plastic! Mine was super dusty and looked like it had been to hell and back…Msi actually cares about their packaging but i guess nvidia and gigabyte can’t afford to wrap a box.. Im sure the card is great if you get a decently made one tho.

Got this brand new overpriced GPU just to find out that it had a silly production quality escape. Only one of the 3 fans worked out of the box. Okay, did my own T/S and realized that it would not even test the fans at PC boot up. Still, Gigabyte dumb tech support made me spend days with silly T/S steps for confirmation. I did every test they asked for just for them to tell me I had to pay for RMA shipping and if anything happened during transit it was my loss! They clearly do not stand behind their product by trying to make the customer pay for their mistakes. This is a easily detectable issue that any lazy production test would detect. Luckily still have the BB returning windows open and ended up returning the card. Thanks BB! All I can say is: DO NOT buy Gigabyte, they do not stand behind their product and do not care about their customers.

Great performance, cheap build, terrible software

Pros: - Great performance - low temps - minimal coil whine Cons: - loud fans (at least compared the the air cooled 4090 MSI Suprim X) - Cheap build quality - shouldnt be priced $100 over FE - terrible software I ended up returning my Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090 and kept my air cooled MSI 4090 Suprim X which had much better build quality with a metal frame, better design, quieter fans, and equally minimal coil whine. The fact that the air cooled Suprim X (which best buy doesnt sell unfortunately) is the same price, is crazy to me with the build quality differences.

This is an amazing graphics card, there’s no doubt about that. But the coil whine on the one I got was unbearable from the moment I installed it, It was extremely loud and annoying. I had to return it. I’m disappointed and truly saddened by the situation. I wish my store would have done more to get me a replacement.

Card came damaged where the radiator fins on the card were bent. This honestly could have been avoided if someone would have shipped the card to me in something other than the manufacturers retail box that they shrink wrapped. For a card that costs as much as this you'd think the company selling it would have taken a bit more precaution in protecting the package during shipment.

I went to pick up my graphics card. And they had my name on a pressure cooker Instead of the actual card. Which is very weird. How do You mix those two up. That’s not the only problem I had. The box was severely damaged. And had been opened. The only reason I took the box home was because the graphics card was still in it seal. The lady at the front desk handled the card so poorly . dropping the box on the desk right in front of me. Best Buy is by far the worst to get graphics cards from. Here is a image of me leaving the store with the opened/damaged box.
