This thing is outrageous in every regard. The price is sky high. It's so huge it's like cramming a whole Xbox Series X into your PC case, and it sucks down significantly more power as well, not even taking into account the rest of your PC. The performance is equally as insane though. Even with modern games maxed out at high resolutions I often find my 5800X to be the limiting factor for performance. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. The size helps keep thermals under control without making tons of noise, even when it does reach its full TDP, which surprisingly doesnt happen that often, even when the GPU isn't being bottlenecked, and it really is incredibly fast. My only complaint is that sometimes the fans suddenly ramp up to high speeds for a couple of seconds for no apparent reason (sometimes it does it just idling on the desktop) and ramp right back to normal, but it doesn't happen often enough to really bother me. I have a hard time recommending a single component that is so ridiculously expensive, but if you have no issue spending the money for one I really doubt you'll be disappointed. That of course assumes you're able to find it in stock though, so if you're interested then I wish you luck in that regard!

Had this card for almost 2 weeks and im still very impressed with the performance, and im coming from a 3080ti, in some games like God of War in max settings 4k i went from 80 fps to 150fps, gains are around 60-70fps over the 3080ti and this is without using any dlss, also for witcher 3 frame generation adds another 40 fps easily over dlss , this card has less coil whine than the 3080ti msi gaming x trio, and it runs around 55-60c during gaming, the only downside is that its huge and you'll probably need a bigger case, the cooler is so overkill that the fans always stop spinning while in the menus since the temps just drop below 40c within seconds

Beast of a GPU at a hefty price

Pros:
-The performance jump from 3090 to 4090 is noticeable right off the bat, especially with 1440p & 4K gaming
-Power limit is adjustable to 600W
-Of all the 4090s so far, this card has no coil whine (at least my copy doesn't)
Cons:
-This is a very large card, make sure your case can fit it
-RGB lighting is unimpressive
-GPU software is horrible, use Gigabyte Control Center to update the GPU's BIOS and Firmware then use something else. the UI is horrible
-The MSRP of $1699.99 doesn't justify the price to performance jump from 3090 to 4090. Nvidia pulled this price spike with the 2080Ti. If history repeats itself, this means the 50 Series cards will pack even more power at a lesser price point just like the 30 Series cards did after the 20 Series cards.

This card is a beast it runs anything I play on ultra settings in 4k anywhere from 130 fps to 220fps depending what I'm playing. I'm also pleased with the temps normally runs at about 40c and when under a heavy load it never reaches over 60c.I was hesitant upgrading from a RTX 3080 10gb card but boy this thing is a day and night difference. If you are able to offord the cost and are a huge perfectionist when it comes to the Detail of the graphics this baby won't disappoint. Also my Display is a Samsung Odyssey neo G7 32" so it helps this card shine. On a side note this card is huge it will not fit in to any ordinary atx case. You should purchase an oversized case to give ample room and it also gets with heat dispersion. also the plugs that power this card are placed right on the upper outside of the card and can be a little hard to work with. I have a NZXT H7 Flow which is a nice and roomy case also great for airflow. I hope this review helps any sitting on the fence about shelling out the dough.

Performance is incredible as you might expect and the large fans are quiet and efficient. Just be aware of the card's substantial dimensions and make sure it will fit in your case. The 4yr warranty is great except Gigabyte support leaves a lot to be desired (having dealt with them in the past). Maybe it's improved but I have my doubts. Also, the RGB lights behind the card's fans are garbage. Not only do they have an annoying strobe effect due to the black fan blades, but in order to turn them off you must set up the Gigabyte Control Center, which is God awful software. In the end I am willing to overlook the cons due to the quiet and effective cooling performance plus I was able to snag it cheaper than a FE card.

This is the RTX 4090 with the lowest amount of coil whine. I recommend getting this version if you have sensitive ears. This card has some RGB on the fans though not as good as other ones (ie Suprim, Strix). The performance is as expected for a 4K-capable gaming graphics card - wish its price can be lower.

Such an awsome card, plays anything in 4k. Best card on the market. A little high on price but their is nothing else like it. I can get close to 100fps with dlss, max settings and max ray tracing at 4k on Cyberpunk 2077, looks beautiful.

There's no denying the hype, this card really is the best of the best. Coming from a 3080ti, it runs quieter and noticeably cooler with even better performance. My one word of caution for prospective buyers: this is a big card. Yes, all 4090s are big, but this one SPECIFICALLY is ESPECIALLY big, particularly when you factor in the clearance the power cord needs. A 90 or 180 degree adapter will be a necessity for most cases with this card. But on the plus side, it comes with an anti-sag bracket that's a breeze to install, so even with the size and weight, it's not going anywhere. And--it can't be overstated enough--it has a 4-year warranty. Hands down, I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Solid card with insanely good performance for everything from video encoding for YouTube/OBS to the best in class gaming graphics you could ask for.
Know that when you get one of these cards, you need a good PSU since you’re probably running a latest gen AMD/intel CPU. If you plan on overclocking either or both the card/CPU, have your wattage headroom in mind.
Also a hulk of a card in terms of being a physical behemoth. It’s as thick as it is because of the cooling, which it obviously needs. Measure your case ahead of time.
You’re also going to need enough PSU cables or an aftermarket solution.

This GPU is fantastic, coming from a MSI Ventus OC 3090 it seems 2X faster, very good for 4k 120 fps. I cant believe how impressed i am, most of the time its pulling the same or less watts than my 3090 for way more FPS. I almost never see it at it's 450 TDP. Like others I've experience No coil whine and get fantastic temperatures. You can create a custom fan curve and make this very quiet and still get good very thermals. This is my first Gigabyte card coming from Evga and MSI and it's by far the best card i've ever had. Also, I find it very impressive they are giving an extra year of warranty than other major brands.

The GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming OC delivers incredible performance for gaming and creative work. The 24GB GDDR6X memory handles 4K gaming effortlessly, while the cooling system keeps it running smoothly. A bit pricey, but the power and future-proofing make it worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Great performance like every other 4090.
A bit over over priced.
The reason why i chose this card was due to all the reviews in many online forums stating this GPU has little to no coil whine issues.
Haven't owned all the 4090's but this Gigabyte OC model has almost no coil whine. You have to stick your ear inside of the case to hear anything.
Before this gpu, i bought a MSI Trio X 4090 and it had terrible coil whine. Ended up returning it.

What can I say, this thing is overpowered and awesome. Been running anything and everything at 4K, RT maxed, at 100+ FPS. Just be sure you have at LEAST a mid tower case because this thing barely fit in my Corsair Mid tower with a front mounted 360mm AIO. The included support bracket is pretty simple and does a good job. Cooler is pretty robust and the overall backplate and design is also nice and functional looking

Excellent card, its quiet, does not heat up nearly as much as my old 6900XT did, and the frame rates area god send.
The software bundle for the card is non existent which means one less background task, and the Nvidia software works with it flawlessly so far.

Since upgrading to 4090 graphics card, my computing experience has undergone a radical transformation. As a gamer with very high standards for both graphical quality and performance, I have been thoroughly impressed by the capabilities of this card. Not only do games run flawlessly at 4K resolution, rendering every frame with exquisite detail and smoothness, but what astonishes me the most is how quietly it operates despite its immense power output.
Previously, my old graphics card would generate noticeable noise under high load, but this 4090 card, even when running the most demanding titles, maintains a surprising level of quietness. The advanced cooling technology that [Brand] has incorporated into this card is nothing short of miraculous, allowing for peak performance without the compromise of sound disruption. This blend of silent operation and formidable performance capabilities makes the [Brand] 4090 an unparalleled choice for gamers and professionals alike, seeking the pinnacle of technology without the noise penalty.

A Beast Card with Psycho Power Draw

This is a beast card that would probably last you 3 - 4 years for ANY Game at 4K Max with ray tracing at 100+ fps! When 99% in use it draws 440-460w of power, which is a bad news for your energy bill. You need a 1000w psu. Don't follow the minimum recommendation of 850w because 850w can be max out which is a very inefficient power conversion (and shorter lifespan of psu). Don't save money on your PSU!
REMINDER: YOU MUST HAVE
(1) latest gen of CPU
(2) DDR5 Ram (not 4800 but 5600+)
(3) 4K 120Hz monitor
to fully max out the use of this card. DO NOT BUY this card if you don't have the budget for (1)(2)(3) because this card is powerful enough to max out ANY games with ray tracing at 120fps (of course with DLSS on).
If you are playing game without 4k at 120Hz, you are wasting your money!!! Got a 7900xtx or 4080 instead!!!

Iv used this and a founders edition 4090 and while the founders is way better built this one actually kept the card cooler and was more quiet. It is really huge tho so definitely measure before installing. The only thing I don’t like is the plastic shroud which makes the card feel cheap especially since this card is more expensive than a founders edition.
