This thing runs pretty much anything I can throw at it with no problem and handles 1440p solidly. I've heard some reviews saying that the 9070xt runs hot, but this one stays around 60-65C with no issues and that was prior to undervolting, which it handled like a champ.

As a former owner of the ASRock Challenger RX 7800 XT, I can tell you that card was a champ. It got the job done for 1440p gaming and never complained. But then, the Gigabyte Gaming RX 9070 XT showed up, and it's like my PC finally learned to fly.
The Performance Upgrade
The leap in performance is genuinely shocking. Going from the 7800 XT to the 9070 XT feels like the difference between a brisk walk and a full-on sprint. I'm seeing a significant bump in FPS, especially at 4K, where the 9070 XT pulls ahead by a massive margin—up to a 40-49% increase in games like Cyberpunk 2077. This isn't just an upgrade; it's a new gaming experience.
New Technology & Power Usage
One of the most impressive things about the 9070 XT is the new technology it packs. The RDNA 4 architecture comes with third-generation ray tracing accelerators and second-generation AI accelerators, which really makes ray tracing and upscaling technologies like FSR 4 shine. It also has a new AMD Radiance Display Engine for better visuals.
Now, for the power usage. While the RX 9070 XT is a more power-hungry card with a typical board power of 304W compared to the 263W of the 7800 XT, it's a small price to pay for the massive performance gain. Plus, with the new efficiency optimizations, you're getting a lot more performance per watt, which is the real magic trick. It's like it's a gourmet chef that uses a little more energy but serves up a Michelin-star meal every time.
In short, if you're looking for a serious upgrade that's worth the investment, the Gigabyte RX 9070 XT is a no-brainer. It's an absolute beast.

This thing is an absolute animal. Upgraded from a EVGA 3080ti and have seen notable performance increase paired with a Ryzen 7 7800x3D. System cooling has also dropped ~20-25° C under load with a stable 120 FPS on all games at 1440p. FSR frame generation also works phenomenal on games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 where optimization is poor.

1440p gamer here. Run an AMD 7900X with 32GB ram. I upgraded from an nVidia GTX 1070 8GB. Ive built two new PCs since my 1070 purchase, but I waited a long time on GPU because value for my purchase was key to me, as i want my choice of GPU to last me a long time. It felt like the right time because of the actual benchmarks without scaling and the slew of reviews for the drivers and performance. It really is crushing everything i throw at it, no sweat. Easy to use AMD drivers. Fantastic performance. Ive owned it since April and i game about 10 hrs a week. I’m honestly shocked and thrilled with it so far - proud of the purchase!

I'm coming from a rtx 4070, and this card about double raw fps in all my games. I'm running this off of a 7 5800x3d cpu. My monitor is a Asus 2k Oled 240hz. I did get this OC 9070xt for 719. First time Amd GPU buyer. No regrets. Before this purchase, I was having monitor flickering and black screens randomly, and fps drops. After switching to Amd all those issues went away. Nvidia is having drivers issues with games, they're too focused on AI. I hope they solve it, because they did have great cards. Their costs are to high too.

This card delivers excellent 4K gaming performance with smooth frame rates and great cooling thanks to Gigabyte’s triple-fan design. I really like how quiet it runs even under heavy load, and the RGB accents give it a nice premium look in my case. The only downside is its size, so make sure your case has room. Overall, I’d recommend it to anyone wanting high-end performance for modern games and future proofing with PCIe 5.0 support.

This thing is amazing. I use it for 1440p ultrawide gaming and it performs flawlessly on everything I throw at it at the highest settings. The card itself runs very quietly too. Fantastic bang for buck.

Upgraded from a 3080ti to this and havent played anything i couldnt run yet. My one gripe so far however the software amd uses is not very user friendly compaired to Nvidia. That being said if your looking for a gpu for 1440p or 4k gaming this may be the one for you rivaling Nvidia speeds for a lower price all without the use of ai frame gen

The new FSR technology is insane, minor visual impact with increased performance,
This card is super powerful and hands my VR games beautifully
I don’t care for the A.I. generated frames, it doesn’t actually work, for example, on black ops 6 if i get 100 fps regularly, I can turn on frame gen, it says I’m getting 200 fps, but it doesn’t feel or look like it at all, it just says it, it actually feels worse, more input lag and stutters feel twice as bad, almost like it’s generating those stutters multiple times

One month in and this GPU is working great for me. Took a little effort to get it to properly work with my setup but that is probably because this was my first PC build. Working in a MSI MAG X870E motherboard with a Ryzen 7 9800x3D CPU and Corsair DDR5 32GB (2x16) 6000MHz RAM. Monitor is a Samsung Odyssey G6

I haven't upgraded in a long time, and so found this one at like 5:00 in the morning. It was also just slightly above MSRP, so I went for it. I paired it with an old i9-9900 CPU and DDR4 ram, and I can play everything at 1440p comfortably. I'm 100% happy. Don't keep waiting for the next big thing, if this is on sale just buy it. You won't regret it. Make sure your power supply can handle it. You'll need 2x8 pin connectors.
