Glorious software is bad. Standby lighting doesnt work - lights will turn off when idle and ive spoken with support and this has been an issue for mutiple software versions. There are other know software issues that have been known and not fixed - just check google or reddit. Epomaker sounds and feels better and is less expensive. I wanted a tactile 100% with a volume knob and the epo aula f108 pro does what glorious does but better and less expesnive.

initially wasn't sure it was worth the cost, but after using this keyboard for a few months it's been a great typing experience. My one tiny insignificant complaint is the switches actuate at a very high point meaning they're very sensitive and it takes very little to register a keystroke.

I've been on a keyboard hunt for months. This keyboard almost fits the bill except it costs a little more than I would like and the keys have a little more resistance that I'm comfortable with. I can see my fingers getting tired after typing for long periods of time. Overall, the keyboard is solid, good quality, and works flawlessly.

This is the third Glorious keyboard I've bought, and the third that had issues with switches just not working. Replaced the first one that stopped working with the extra that came in the box and everything worked great. Then another one stopped working and I either needed to buy more of the same fox switches, or use one of the other switches in the box which would be weird as my switches wouldnt match. Just returned it. Too bad cause it did sound good. Ordered a Wooting

Favorite Keyboard Ever.

I have owned several RGB full size mechanical gaming keyboards in my life. I love to game and I ran a business for several years that had 3 fulltime PC setups which all used gaming keyboards. They’re awesome, sure I don’t really need a lot of macros or custom key bindings for a database, but life is easier when you have the options available to use them when convenient. Plus who doesn’t like beautiful custom RGB lighting options? So though I am not an extreme competitive gamer by any measure, I have learned to love a good gaming keyboard for a variety of applications. This keyboard is my favorite I have ever owned.
For the first few days I just used the keyboard with no additional software. All of my initial responses were very positive. Right out of the box the unit feels solid and well built. I also find it very aesthetically pleasing. I like the lights on the side and I love that there is a dial to control the volume. You can cycle through a variety of preset LED color patterns with the FN key and the left and right arrows. Up and down arrows affect the light intensity. What I really love and I mean love from this keyboard is the sound and feel of the keys. Now this keyboard is ridiculously customizable. It comes with a few other key switch styles to try out along with a simple tool to easily swap them out. Personally I’m thrilled with the default ones but I could see how people would prefer some of the other options you can get. I love the feel and feedback of a mechanical switch, but not always the sound. This one is perfect for me.
After a few days I downloaded the accompanying Core software to see all the additional customizable options available. It feels like you can literally do anything. Multiple profiles, custom lights, remap the keys or create macros. I had a small issue getting a feature on the software to work and had a really good interaction with their customer service. All in all I just love this Keyboard. I have a great Razor keyboard as well, but this one is my new favorite. Now I just have to keep my girlfriend from taking it for her computer, I think she loves it more than I do. All in all I give this keyboard a very solid 5* rating and if I knew someone looking for a mechanical gaming keyboard, I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.

The ultimate customizable gaming keyboard

This Glorious GMMK 3 is a full-sized, wired mechanical keyboard designed with gaming in mind, with beautiful RGB lighting, and featuring hot-swappable switches for customization. Smooth, quiet keystrokes, and beautiful array of lighting features make this a real contender in the upper end gaming market, and I’ve really enjoyed playing with it.
Design and Build Quality
• Aesthetics: The GMMK 3 has a sleek, small footprint design with an anodized aluminum top plate that gives it a sturdy, premium feel. The keyboard's RGB backlighting is gorgeous, customizable, and offers vibrant lighting effects that can be personalized to fit your desktop and rig via the newly released Glorious CORE 2.0 software.
• Durability: The build quality is solid, with a sturdy frame that easily withstands heavy use during elongated gaming sessions. The keycaps are double-shot PBT, which are incredibly wear resistant and maintain their shine over time to keep their look and feel top-notch.
Performance
• Switches: This model comes with linear switches, known for their smooth keypresses without tactile feedback or audible clicks – very quiet - making them ideal for long sessions of both gaming and typing. The hot-swappable feature is a real standout feature of this high-end keyboard, allowing users to easily change switches without soldering. This allows quicker and more flexible customization options, adding to the overall unique feel of the keyboard to fit any user’s style and preferences.
• Key Rollover and Anti-Ghosting: The GMMK 3 offers full N-key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting, ensuring that every keypress is registered accurately, even during intense gaming sessions.
• Polling Rate: This keyboard boasts an impressive 1000Hz polling rate, providing super responsive input, which is crucial for competitive gaming, making the difference when it matters most!
Software
• Glorious Core 2.0 Software: The recently updated accompanying software allows for simple, user friendly, intuitive, and extensively versatile customization. Features include key remapping, macro creation, lighting adjustments, and overall performance alterations. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it quick and easy to get just the right setup out of the box.
Comfort and Ergonomics
• Typing Experience: I really appreciate these linear switches as an overall preference for my all-around computing needs. They provide smooth keystrokes and a quiet typing experience, which I find to be less fatiguing (and less annoying) during longer sessions. However, those who prefer tactile feedback might find the lack of a bump less satisfying, but I enjoy the quiet smoothness here.
• Ergonomics: The keyboard includes adjustable feet to change the typing angle to accommodate all users. Seems like a small thing but really makes a difference when you play with them and find what fits you best.
Conclusion
The Glorious GMMK 3 is an excellent choice for gamers who prioritize customization, comfort, and quality. Its hot-swappable feature is a significant advantage for those who like to experiment with different switches. Overall build quality is top-notch, making this keyboard a strong contender in the mechanical keyboard market, especially for enthusiasts who enjoy being able to fully customize and fine-tune their setup.

Great Gaming Keyboard With Loads of Flexibility

If you are like me, I started gaming on the general consoles such as PlayStation and Xbox. But as my gaming evolved, I moved into actual dedicated desktops for gaming. And as gamers look for advantages, eventually they get to keyboards. Using just a regular run-of-the-mill keyboard is not good enough. With the Glorious, GMMK 3, you gain an advantage instantly.
Straight out of the box, you feel the difference. This keyboard is noticeably heavier than most other keyboards, coming in at just under two and a half pounds. But that is not a bad thing. This keyboard can take the punishment of any gamer. It is built to last. It connects to the computer via USB-C connection. The cable is only about 6 feet long though. This shouldn’t be an issue, but if you have to snake you cables around to keep it neat, it might be a bit tight. Setup all went quickly, and I was up and ready to go.
The great thing with this keyboard is the versatility it affords the gamer. You can tailor the keyboard to your style. The LED lights give you just the look you want. Then you can adjust the sound to be what you want. The thing I really liked most was that you can tailor the feel not only to your gaming preferences, but also go back and forth between multiple feels depending on what you are doing on the keyboard. You can even adjust a haptic feel on this system.
Now I will not say that this keyboard made me better on Rocket League or FortNite or any of the other games, but I did enjoy it more. Having the sensory feedback tailored to what I wanted was a big advantage. I certainly enjoyed playing with this keyboard much more. By being able to feel it the way I wanted, I could focus more on the game.
I mostly used this keyboard with a PC environment. That is the way I prefer to play. However, I did swap over and use it with my MacBook. The keyboard worked just as well. In fact, the keyboard does come with a key puller and 4 alternate keycaps for MacOS systems. I probably won’t use that, but it is nice knowing I can if I ever want to.
The manufacturer does point out that the keycaps are built to last with GPBT double-shot Keycaps. I did not use this keyboard long enough to evaluate that, but I can say this keyboard seems every bit as durable as advertised. I certainly plan on using it a lot as it has become my preferred keyboard.
In the end, I really like the Glorious GMMK 3 keyboard. I can set the keyboard up however I want, and even swap it out on the fly to change the feel quickly if I need to. I have complete control all right on the keyboard. I recommend this keyboard to gamers looking to gain a useful edge.
