Really high quality board, with dial and rgb

This board is very heavy, which is good, so it doesn't move while gaming/typing. Also, there's rgb on the sides of the board, which is very cool and different. And rgb where switches is very good as well. Works great with glorious switches. Also, on their website, it does say it works with Gateron switches as well, so that could be an option as well. The dial on the board controls volume and press in to mute volume by default, which is very useful. overall, this board is awesome. Have it paired with glorious lynx switchs and glorious ocean keycaps. 5 stars

    Great Beginner Board

For the price and what you get, it's a decent value. Lots of room to customize it t how you like. My board still came with their V1 stabilizers, Glorious mentioned they are trying to ship out barebones with their V2 stabilizers, but the chance of getting them is very unlikely---which is totally fine, they're screw in stabs so very easy to swap out for your own; which I highly recommend you do. The board is QMK compatible which is a nice point, it means you don't need to install Glorious' proprietary software, unless you want to customize your board's RGB. Another worry I know people had with the earlier batches of the board is 3rd party stabilizer compatible. I can't speak for the brass plate, but can confirm that the barebones I got came with their updated aluminum plate, which fit my Durrock V2 stabs with no issue.

Nice build, irritating QA issues w stabilizers

This is a very well built barebone keyboard. The build quality of the aluminum and anodized finish are very nice. The LEDs are bright and color saturation is good. My issues with it are twofold: the stabilizers were all over-lubricated from the factory and I didn't check them before assembly (my bad, but if their QA was better, it wouldn't be a problem to begin with) and now have to completely tear the board down and perform maintenance, or what they call "optimization" in order to get my space bar, right and left shift and enter keys to rebound as they should. Their previous guidance was to try dripping high pct isopropyl into the stabs, but mine have so much lube it made no difference. Secondarily: the rotary encoder can only be a volume controller with the button itself being assignable to other operations. This is dumb. The stabilizer issues are also apparent on their full prebuilt units, and I think I'd be even more annoyed if I had to tear down a retail keyboard to fix a factory flaw, but it is what it is. I think there are other barebones that are similar in build quality and price and have fewer flaws from the factory (Keychron being one that springs to mind)

It was fun to customize one of these and put it together myself, it was a very fulfilling process. However I spent about $500 between this and switches and caps, terrible valuable. The quality is probably the best you will get at a brick and mortar store, however I don’t think that out weighs the price.

    Solid like a tank

This is a great barebonez keyboard. It's built like a tank, very solid and heavy enough to never move. Has a programable knob preset to media controls of volume up/down rotation and pause/play pressing. The white ice color is as its name suggests. it looks like silvery snow with ice flecks. It's quite pleasing and quality. I put the gateron ks-9 silent switches in for an almost completely noiseless experience. I will add that it has small light bars on the sides of the unit, which are subtle but really enhance the esthetics. The software could be a little easier to use, it took me a few failed tries to figure out how to separately create and save different profiles, of which there are 3 that save directly to the keyboards memory. This is an easy recommendation to those starting the keyboard hobby. It goes kn sale often, so wait for that for the best bang for your buck.

This is the second one of these keyboards I have bought and it is great. Very sturdy and good build quality. Lots of options for customizion and to make it like no one elses. I seriously recommend it to anyone who is just getting into custom keyboards and want a good solid base to learn on.

Very durable and stable. When I got the keyboard I was very surprised by the weight. The only complaint I have is that the spacebar only has RGB in the middle and not all throughout.

This keyboard was so much heavier than I had expected and the colors and knobs look clean when you turn it on. I installed aqua kings and since they're clear it pushes more light out so it's really bright.

REMEMBER - when you buy this keyboard you will need switches and keycaps. Although that can be a little bit of a pain, it allows you to customize the keyboard to your liking based off of which keys you use more frequently. The lighting on it is also very slick.

An enthusiast's keyboard at retail prices

I have several enthusiast bespoke keyboards, mostly ortho-linear and split. I needed a keyboard dedicated to gaming because I use an alternative layout. I was not expecting a product of this quality at retail. This is the kind of keyboard I'd expect to come out of the mechanical keyboard community as a group buy. The case, the hot-swap PCB, the gasket mounting? These are all premium features. It can be flashed to QMK/VIA! If you don't know what those are they are open-source keyboard firmware, a true power user feature. If this was a bespoke case and PCB it would be much more expensive, and you'd wait close to a year for delivery. Cons: Might be out of your budget. Will possibly get you into the mechanical keyboard hobby. I'm sorry for the lost income if that happens.
