Stabilizers either need to be immensely lubed / replaced with some durocks but the build quality is great. Sturdy build for beginners.

Decent Keyboard with Annoying Problems

While a pretty decent DIY keyboard, I am a little disappointed. I grabbed this "kit" because I had been looking into building a mechanical keyboard. I was a little disappointed that--outside of the keycaps and switches--it was pretty much preassembled. I was looking forward to putting it all together. That said, my BIGGEST issue, is the quality of the stabilizers on certain keys. I'm not sure exactly what the issue is, but it keeps the L. Shift and the Backspace buttons stuck. I thought after a few days/weeks it would get better. It didn't.
If you're going to get this keyboard, factor in that you will likely need to get different stabilizers as well as keycaps and switches.

For being my first time building a keyboard, the GMMK pro barebones is the perfect starting point. It’s easy to assemble and cusomtize with the available accessories (key switches and caps) and is built to last

The frame is great, ive used a non-glorious keys/keycaps, however the frame is made out of solid aluminum and has had no issues. The stablizers are my favorite.
