Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the GMMK PRO Prebuilt 75% Wired Mechanical Keyboard, especially the amazing feel of the keyboard while typing. The buttery smooth switches, substantial weight, and great key feel are also appreciated. The included software and comfortable wrist rest are further benefits, though some find the stabilizers to be over-lubed and the price a bit high.

The GMMK Pro has made my typing experience much more enjoyable and productive. I finally found a keyboard that I enjoy typing and gaming on. Build quality is top-notch! This thing is built like a tank and it is super clean!

Great Entry to Hot Swappable Mechanical Keyboards

Many modifications can be made to the board, however standalone without anything extra the board is amazing; no clack sounding, nice switch presses. The only complaint which didn’t bother me as much as it seems to bother some others is the overlubed stabs. Other than this, great board. Something to think about though is the weight, the keyboard is probably 10 times heavier than any other keyboard I’ve used, which I’m a fan of.

First things first: yes, the keyboard is expensive. I walked around Best Buy for over 30 minutes and even asked an employee if I could open the box to test it (it had already been opened previously) before buying it. Long story short, I'm glad I did. This is the best typing experience, both sensory and auditory, that I have ever had. The aluminum frame lends each keystroke a very satisfying sound and the tactile sensation of typing is so gratifying; I bought this primarily for gaming and all I want to do with it is type, that's how enamored I am with this keyboard. I can summarize this keyboard by stating the following: "It's like buttah". It's smooth, satisfying, and a joy to experience.

This keyboard is a steal for $100. For $100 you won't find a better keyboard and you can always change the switches out later and keycaps if you prefer something else. As long as you don't need wireless this is the keyboard to get especially at $100. This is better built then The $200 keyboards from other brands. Apx 3.5 lbs because the backing plate is all metal. The keys are pretty lubed and feel so good. Id buy another to keep around if I had the money.

I've been looking for the right keyboard for some time now. In days of old I had a number of keyboards from a now long gone computer company I used for years. As I have multiple sons we have many keyboard around the house and I have tested many for other resellers. After years of liking but not loving I finally found my keyboard. If you are a linear switch fan the Fox switches that come in this board will probably become your new favorites. From my experience they feel just like the Lynx switches but are more shine through. Many people liked them enough that Glorious made a batch for resell that quickly sold out. I'm not sure the stabilizers are the greatest of all time (GOAT) but they are definitely better than any other prebuilt keyboard I have owned. Since purchase I have not had to lube them nor done anything. They are super solid and quiet. This kit comes with a nice wrist rest, keycap puller, switch puller, extra keycaps and a very nice coiled cable for the custom keyboard look. If you are looking for gasket flex out of the box this may not be your board. There are others in this price range that will give you that. For me it was a non issue as I like the solid feel, low noise and deep sound on bottom-out of the keys. Lighting is controlled by the Glorious software which is easy to use. There are others which are more robust but this has everything I needed and I'm not presented with a ton of ads every time I want to modify the lighting. I believe they are working on other compatibility but I haven't needed to use that. Worth it? I say yes, While I'm just getting in to modding keyboards I didn't want that for the one I need to depend on day in and day out but still wanted that feel and that is what this has to offer. The kit truly has everything you need, already assembled and ready to go. I've been so impressed with Glorious since purchase I've switched to some of their other products as well and been just as impressed with those. The pre-built isn't cheap but it's not meant to be, It's meant to get you started with everything you need in one place. That is does very well. If you are looking for a custom feel but don't want or have the time to build out everything yourself, this is your keyboard. Highly recommend.

This is a really good keyboard. Has a solid build, and enough weight to stay planted in place. I’ve had several mechanical keyboards and this one is the best hands down. Albeit this has been the most expensive keyboard I have purchased by a long shot but the quality I feel makes it worth it.

This was an expensive keyboard purchase and I had buyers remorse before even using it, however after using it for 30 seconds I knew it was a keeper, this is a premium product. High quality construction, excellent cable and rgb and the typing experience is the best I have ever experienced. I could never use anything less after this.

    Overlubing; a sticky situation

This keyboard is roughly $300 and is very heavy. Soke might call that well built, I call it a weapon if thrown. The build quality is… fine the best part of the whole keyboard is that it has a good frame and the bones arent too bad. The problem lies with the factory lubing, it gets so bad that pressing the enter key or shift has it where it slowly raising back up or even gets stuck. It is mushy. The software is fine but nothing crazy. The accents on the sides don’t “pop” out enough in my opinion for them to exist. All in all: it’s too expensive, too bulky and over lubed, but the frame is well built and the volume knob is very nice and tactial. I would stray from the prevuilt version: just because the prebuilt is the only one that has those switches, it does not justify the cost. If anything, stick to the frame and build it yourself or dont pick this thing up. I should also note the stock foam (hardly any) is lack luster and this is probably why they felt the need to overlube the switches so much to compensate for the pinginess of the keys.

I had high expectations from a $300 plus keyboard. I built a full gaming pc and had used a Glorious 60% GMMK 2 and was impressed with it for under 100 on sale. I thought I would try their flagship keyboard for myself. I was highly disappointed. All the stabs stick! Yes I followed their note in the box to use the 100 plus times. I probably did each 500 they still stick. I should not need to disassemble the kb to remove excess lube and hope it works. (I did not I returned the item instead) The worst part is the seemingly great frame it has, I was really happy with the weight of it, however the case was not straight. Sitting it on my desk it wobbles as use type because it doesn’t sit flat. Ok maybe it’s my desk, granite counter hmm ok. Nope still like a teeter toddler. I returned it and went for, I’m still coming to grips with this, a Razer Blackwidow v4 75%. I hate to admit it but it’s great. Dumped the oem keys for cherry profile and it’s perfect. Sorry Glorious you really need QC and a price check. I did buy this on sale for 299.99 yuck. Maybe just get a bare bones if the frame is straight.

This Glorious keyboard should be deemed a beginning keyboard creators blueprint. This keyboard is a bad boy…its not cheap it aint even affordable but ofcourse I got it in spite of that to customize myself and the switch and keycap combos you can do will amaze you. You can learn alot just by disassembling and reassembling it creating the keyboard of your dreams. If i dont like what im typing on its going to affect the quality of my work..with this keyboard it was the weight for me
