After using for several weeks I have really enjoyed using the Glorious O3 Wireless mouse. It is very light, despite the battery and I was pleasantly surprised to find that while swapping batteries, it has an onboard battery that allows the mouse to stay on and connected so you don't have to turn it off and back on while swapping. In addition, the customization options are great and the charger and dongle allow me keep my desk area clean and tidy. Overall, this is one of my favorite mice I have ever used and that is saying something considering my extensive use of Corsair, Logitech, Razor, and many other brands for many years! If you are looking for a solid performing wireless mouse with hot-swappable battery to stay gaming instead of having to plug and charge, this is the mouse you want!

First new wireless mouse purchase in last decade, very good choice! Super light, super smooth, perfect clicks. The battery system and infinite play function works. Only wish would be for longer battery life.

Never-ending Battery

The O3 is probably the most unique mouse to come out in years. It doesn't just have a battery you swap, but a SECOND battery within it connects to when the other runs out. This means you never have to worry about plugging in your mouse mid-game.
If you consider the fact that other gaming brands have infinite charging mousepads but they are an extra hundred bucks, you realize this mouse is an absolute steal for the price. It comes with everything you need. The weight could be lighter, but I think it's found a nice sweet spot... not too heavy, not too light.
If you like unique tech, or you are a gamer and don't want to plug in your wireless mouse, this is the perfect product.

A Great Concept Held Back by Flawed Performance

As someone obsessed with gaming mice who owns nearly every top-of-the-line model, I was excited for the Model O3—especially its swappable battery. I was a fan of the original Model O but have felt Glorious has fallen behind the competition. Unfortunately, despite some great ideas, this mouse suffers from the same performance issues.
The Good:
- On paper, the specs are top-notch (8,000 Hz polling, 30k DPI sensor, 66 grams, RGB, 130 M optical switches, braided cable, symmetrical shape, USB-C if you choose to go wired, 2-year warranty).
- It has good build quality. The mouse feels great in the hand. There’s no creaking or flex, the buttons are satisfyingly crisp, and they did a surprisingly good job with the sound and feel of the optical switches. Which is a difficult feat.
- The ability to hot-swap batteries is genuinely neat. A secondary internal battery keeps the mouse powered on while you swap, so you never have downtime.
- The charging dock is well-designed. It plugs in via USB-C, has a button to cycle DPI, and includes clear indicator lights for battery, connection, polling rate, and DPI. It even has mounting holes and rubber feet to keep it in place, though be warned: it is massive.
The Bad:
- Inconsistent Core Performance: This is the dealbreaker. The wireless feels noticeably laggy and is a step behind the competition. Clicks are unreliable—sometimes not registering, other times randomly initiating a drag. The scroll wheel is untrustworthy for gaming, as it can activate between steps or not register at all. While I can still perform with it, I find myself making unforced errors that I wouldn't with other mice, which just builds frustration over time.
- Higher polling rate doesn’t work well. These problems become significantly more noticeable when you try to use the advertised 4K or 8KHz polling rates. If you're selling a mouse with high-end features, they need to work. Being forced to stick to 1KHz to have a semi-stable experience defeats the purpose.
- The connection of the wireless is also spotty. Where sometimes it feels good and other times it feels like it struggles to keep connected. Despite being less than a foot away from the mouse. Which is likely contributing heavily to the inconsistent performance.
- The innovative battery system creates its own problems. It makes the mouse feel back-heavy, and you can feel the lip where the battery sits. In one wild moment, a weird flick of my wrist actually caused the battery to eject mid-game.
Verdict:
Overall, using this mouse feels like holding a premium product but operating a budget one. I love the concept, but because of the lag and performance issues that absolutely shouldn't exist at this price point, I simply cannot recommend it. There are far more reliable mice available for the same price or even less.

Brand response from Glorious Product Expert

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on the Model O 3 Wireless and I am sorry to read about the inconsistent experience you've had so far. Based on the review, I am going to assume that the inconsistency primarily occurs when using the mouse in wireless. Just for testing purposes, have you tried using the mouse with a polling rate lower than 1KHz? Additionally, if your motion sync feature is enabled/disabled, can you uncheck/check it and use the mouse like that for a while? Also, is the firmware of the mouse up-to-date? Lastly, the wireless performance can also suffer due to wireless interference in your environment. If you have other wireless devices nearby, can you disconnect them for a bit and try using the mouse like that? If you don't mind, we'd like to try and troubleshoot the issue further and assist you accordingly. I love Glorious products. I have several of their mice and keyboards. Honestly, though, the O3 isn't a giant leap forward from the O2. It's a great mouse, but not at the $160 retail price. I only bought it because it was on sale for $100 during the holidays. I would have preferred a white D3, but only the black O3 was on sale at the time.

I recently upgrade from my modle o- to the o3 and have to say the changes in platform are drastic in a good way, aside from the increase in weight. The new software and RGB capabilities are stellar.

This lightweight mouse has been fantastic - it has a replaceable battery that charges on the dock that you can reload into the mouse. Making wireless play feel endless. The battery is swappable, and the battery life overall is around 10 hours on average. (I recommend turning off the mouse at night)
Easy setup and the Glorious Software is great as well.

Same as the Model D3, but with a more ambidextrous shell shape. Unfortunately, this mouse has a lot of problems, in wireless mode specifically. Battery life is about 1.5-2 hours depending on your settings, so you will be looking at swapping batteries out 4-6 times a day depending on usage. The biggest issue is the wireless range. Even with the hub <12 inches away from the mouse, i still get drop-outs and stuttering cursors. Its still a great mouse when used in wired mode, but if wireless is a must for you, best to consider other options.

I upgraded from the O2 mini due to infinite play feature and by far the best product I have added to my set up in awhile! The mouse feels great and sturdy.
Also like to give kudos to the Glorious team with the new core update, the interface has improved drastically!!
