Glory is possibly the greatest movie of all time. Every time you see this movie. Its like seeing it for the first time. This true 4k disc is superior to the 4k masterd version which came out a few years ago. Both smoke the 2009 bluray. Of course there is some natural film grain. Never has a music soundtrack matched a movie in a union of perfection!

I finally got around to seeing this. I enjoyed it, and thought it was really good. Picture quality was fantastic. Some scenes showed their age, but overall the transfer was well done.

Glory is a phenomenally well done historical drama about the first unit of black Northern soldiers who fought in battle against Southern white troops during the American Civil war. The story and the the narration in the film are based upon the treasure trove of actual letters sent home to his mother by Robert Gould Shaw, the commander of this very first black combat unit. Everything from the excellent script to the superlative directing by Edward Zwick shine brightly in this movie. Numerous actors received academy award nominations--and deservedly so. If you are a history buff, or just a fan of extremely good films, this movie comes most highly recommended. The 4K Ultra High Definition bluray looks good, but ,unfortunately, films from this era exhibit a fair amount of film grain and this movie is no exception. The presentation otherwise looks good and the sound (including an exceptional music score) comes through magnificently. One critic called Glory "One of the best historical dramas ever filmed", and I can't dispute him on that. This is a beautifully made movie and a truly moving cinematic experience. Do yourself a favor and don't miss it.

Glory is based on the true story of the Union Army's first all black company to see action in the Civil War. All of the performances are outstanding and, of course, Denzel Washington won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. The last Blu-ray release of Glory was excellent but this new 4K HDR10 release ups the ante in all of the technical aspects. The HDR image is superb with tons of detail, beautiful colors and very deep black levels. The new Atmos soundtrack is detailed and wonderfully immersive. If you have any of the prior Blu-ray releases and now have a 4K TV, upgrading to this new version is a must.

This is a excellent film. It recounts true events from the Civil War. The acting and writing is exceptional. An early film role from Denzel Washington earned him a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award. Matthew Broderick, Morgan Freeman and the rest of the cast really make the movie. Highly recommended!

This refreshingly action packed story of war, lighthearted entry in the 4k Universe has enough charm for the whole family thanks to standout performances, broad humor, and positive attitudes and wonderful 4k scanning. I highly recommend this movie looking to add a new 4K blu ray to their collection

A Classic Historical Biographical War Tragedy That Will Inspire you and All

This is an excellent war movie and one of the best civil war movies that's ever been made. Has amazing characters and a really good story that was based on a true story at any important time in history

A great tribute to the black soldiers who fought on the Union side of the Civil War. Cast is superb and believable, the grittiness and terrifying horrors of 19th Century war on full display.

I highly recommend this 30th Anniversary 4K UHD release for this classic film. Never looked better, and this 4K presentation by Sony is impressively faithful to the original presentation.

This is the first time that I have seen this movie and overall, a great look at the life of African Americans. Even though it is somewhat Hollywood-ish, there's plenty to enjoy watching here. From the performances to the battle sequences(even though a bit dated), you'll be entertained well for 2 hours. Recommended!

A classic civil war story not well known when it was released but still fantastic and powerful today. It's made more powerful with a 4K upgrade. Highly recommended!

This definitely looks pretty good compared to the Blu-ray version. It’s an older movie, from the 80s, but it still has pretty good sound and nice crisp visuals.

Absolutely love this movie!! I have since a I was little. Was excited to see it came out on 4k. Definitely recommend this movie if you love historic war movies

Great remaster of an excellent movie. The Atmos soundtrack is a bit on the subtle side, but the movie overall is something that every 4k enthusiast should own.

This is a great movie to begin with, but in 4K it is even better. Clearer, excellent sound. Over all a much better viewing experience in 4K for a great movie.

Great Actors and movie, and now on 4k is awesome. For being an old movie 4k sure brought out the colors. The sound quality is krisp with my klipsch set.

If you have not seen this movie it is a great story! Excellent actors plenty of battlefield drama. I highly recommend this for your 4K collection.

First off, this is a fantastic film. Just all around excellent. Next, the 4K Blu-ray is wonderful. Great picture and sound quality. Highly recommended.
