Heavy for a 100WH battery back, maybe double the size and weight, though none are as feature rich! This thing is the holy grail. 2x USB-C PD ports with up to 100W combined output. 2x USB-A ports for anything else. Qi wireless charging. ~100W usable AC outlet. Only thing missing is a DC 12v (or adjustable voltage) barrel plug or Anderson PowerPole output. Awesome excellent display to inform how much power is being drawn out or charging into the battery. Small for those without perfect vision, but excellent to have this info available! Can simultaneously charge a MacBook Pro and ChromeBook via the 2 USB-C PD ports, while also charging 2 phones or accessories via the 2xUSB-A ports and charging an iPhone X or newer or Android device such as Galaxy S20 all at the same time. This will draw down the battery in an hour. 100WH is maximum allowed on planes. 4 Negatives: * Size. About double to triple size of some 100WH battery packs * Weight. About double to triple what some 100WH battery packs weight. * No DC output port (i.e. no way to power a 12v device). 12v 10amp would be ideal. * DC Charging port uses a specialized barrel connector (though you could also charge from USB-C. This charging port is similar to older Lenovo Thinkpad chargers, and a Lenovo laptop charger will charge this at ~90 watts (taking about 1 to 1.5 hours to fully charge from dead). * Self discharge. Loses power faster powered off than some other battery packs as this battery pack can’t be fully powered off. Due to the size/weight, tend to carry this less, making it less useful.

It is pretty expensive compared to many other portable chargers but it's extremely flexible in that this has multiple ports from 8mm input, 2 USB Type C input/outputs, 2 USB Type A outputs, a 100 watt 110 volt modified sine wave inverter and Qi wireless charging on top which can all be used simultaneously with pass through charging. With the correct cable, the 8mm port can charge the Sherpa from solar, car charger, or wall outlet with input up to 50 watts. I charge it with solar and just make sure to use a solar panel with an open circuit voltage of 22 volts or less. You can also charge with the USB Type C ports, input/output up to 60 watts each. Use a laptop or power delivery type C charger for fastest charging from 0 to 100% in about 2.5 hours. USB type A ports are like any other portable charger at 5 volts and 2.4 amps each. I don't have a phone with wireless charging so haven't used the Qi feature. If the power inverter is used, once the unit warms up there will be a cooling fan noise that kicks in and is kind of loud. Also, if solar charging make sure to keep the Sherpa out of the sun, otherwise it will overheat and stop charging until you power cycle which is inconvenient if left unattended to charge. The display occasionally started showing some white streaks after 6 months of ownership, not quite sure why but other than that everything still works as intended.

I expected that it would charge my laptop twice on a charge, it only charges up to three quarters of the laptop before the battery is empty.

This is a great little travel worthy battery pack. I had to buy the Goal Zero pouch from their website b/c Best Buy did not sell it. It's only $10 and worth the protection it gives the device when you toss it in a backpack.

Honestly, I was not sure what expecting to be from this little charger. I have a Sherpa 50 that is 8 years old and you cannot even compare this with the older model. This little charger has great abilities for charging phones, tablets, etc. Comes in handy when your out and about and it fits in a backpack, messenger bag with no problem.

Amazing Battery Pack. Took it to Europe for a cycling trip to make sure the group could recharge their phones when we weren't close to an electric source in the middle of cycling mountains.

Tried using with my laptop and fully charged Goal Zero lasted less than 10 minutes before it died. Not worth the money as doesn’t come with a carrying case or charging cable which have to be purchased separately.

can't understand most of the instructions. Did get it charged. On off button goes through several lit up items before you happen to hit or press button correct number of times enough to turn off. has charged my phone and watch overnight using very little battery life. 4 nights so far and still have 50 percent power left; so that is excellent. When charging the Sherpa, it never got to 100 percent. Did get to 98 percent. wish instructions were made for a layman/novice. tells you to use a certain usb but doesn't explain which one of the cords is that particular #.
