Playing God of War on PS5 has been an amazing experience. The story pulled me in from the start, and the bond between Kratos and Atreus is really well done. The 4K visuals and smooth combat make every moment feel epic. Definitely one of the best games I’ve played on my PS5.

I've been wanting this game for my son for a while now but with prices still sky high (the game was still $60 years after it's initial release) and money being tighter now due to prices being higher in general I had to really hunt for that bargain. Thankfully I waited. It finally went on sale for $19.99 and I had a $10 Best Buy rewards credit so I managed to get this game for $10!! I was beyond thrilled that my son finally gets to play this chapter in the legendary Kratos saga!! Xmas has officially been made!! Kratos, family and some hot chocolate... What more could a boy ask for!

I've been a fan of the series since the Playstation 2 and have played every iteration: console, portable, and PC Port and let me tell you, Santa Monica Studios continues to outdo itself. Graphics and gameplay are near perfect. The fact that this is running on a PS5 and not a high end PC says a lot of how far we've come although I would love to see a PC port. Everything just oozes quality, they pulled no stops and the action is always satisfying from the weaker enemies to the bosses. I can go on and on into a long dissertation on how good this game is and all I can do is recommend this to everyone who truly enjoys games.

Somehow, Ragnarok is just as good - if not better than - the 2018 God of War. That's saying a lot since the previous version is one of my top 10 games. Excellent story telling, fun and new gameplay mechanics that build on the already excellent combat from the first, and a solid balance between puzzling and fighting.

Sharper combat, richer realms, and a heartfelt story make Ragnarök a superb finale. Minor pacing and hinting issues aside, it’s a top-tier action-adventure. 9.5/10.

God of war is my favorite video game franchise of all time. So to keep producing high quality god of war games still is impressive. This sequel is amazing with beautiful graphics, amazing music, the characters are so well written and the voice actors are so good! The gameplay is just perfect. I can't wait for the next god of war game.

God of War ragnorok obviously had lofty goals as the sequel to one of the best games of all time. And it certainly comes close. The story becomes very packed and the characters have been MCU-ified. The gameplay as Kratos is improved in almost every way. Unfortunately there are huge segments of the game where you are not playing as Kratos and it’s mind numbingly boring.

The game excels in storytelling, character development, and visual presentation. It maintains the high standards set by its predecessor, offering intense combat, engaging puzzles, and expansive exploration. While the combat system remains largely unchanged, the variety of enemies and side quests provide depth and action packed fun.

The story of the previous GoW entry continues with the same grandeur you’d expect from the franchise. Kratos and Atreus continue to grow and evolve together while fighting all of Norse world, which too is gorgeous! Not much else I can add that others haven’t said.

Excellent continuation of the reborn series. I love the dynamic between the two. Can be challenging but there is a ton of content (most of it optional) and a fantastic story here.

I purchased this game for my brother. He loves it and hasn’t stop playing it since he got it. No issues with the game whatsoever. I definitely recommend purchasing this game I will continue buying games from Best Buy I haven’t been disappointed yet. I give the games I purchase as gifts

God of War Ragnarök delivers a powerful, emotional story with fantastic performances, weighty combat, and breathtaking visuals, but pacing issues and familiar mechanics keep it just shy of perfection. A fitting, cinematic conclusion to Kratos’ Norse saga that’s absolutely worth playing for narrative and spectacle alone.

Great follow up to the past God of War entry. God of War as an action RPG works very well! Awesome game and the Platinum was insanely fun to work for! Story is long and this game is meaty!

This is a great follow-up to GoW, it takes everything great about the previous and builds upon it fantastically. Atreus has expanded abilities and feels like an even more competent partner, and the new abilities and skills are fun. Not to mention maintaining the high quality of story telling and ability to explore even more, whay more could you want. I can't wait for more!
