I can't speak on the game just yet, as I haven't played it, today was a busy day. Although everyone I know that's played it says it's amazing. But I opened everything in this edition and am very happy with it. The statue is beautiful, it came out much better than I anticipated. The extras between this edition, and the collector's are nice too, I admire the detail in everything. Overall I'm glad I purchased this one, however I will say unless you care about the extras or are a collector, the Collector's edition would probably work for you too, you really can't go wrong either way. The GCU discount was pretty sweet too.

I was a bit leary at first when I heard that God of War would get a $130 release and a $150 release. The $20 upgrade is worth every penny. The collectors edition is amazing. the extra four items in the mason are all very nice. The troll carving and horse are about the same size of the other carved figures but are nicely detailed. The keychain is awesome. The stone mason ring is a nice display peace with some weight. I do wish they would of added some details in the inside of the ring, its a bit nothing. Overall this is the best edition of the game.

Perfect blend of combat, character and story. Kratos' newest adventure is full of heart, warmth and feelings. Also, it looks phenomenal.

The best buy I have ever purchased, ha get it, I bought it from Best Buy. Anyways God of war was one of my favorite games, and this by far sets a new level for the franchise. And it sets new level for graphic, story telling, mechanics, and really anything the comes out now. I know I will have to wait awhile for the sequel, but it will be worth it and I will be on my toes ready to buy and play it when they are ready to release it to us.

The game has a great story and is a great addition to the series. Some people might not like that the camera view was changed in this game, but I myself like the over the should view. Does remind me a little bit of HZD. As for the Stone Mason Edition, it contained very high quality items. The cloth map was a little delicate but it was very detailed. The steelbook design was very intricate and nice. Overall though the game is great and I am really hoping for another entry for the series.

This game hands down is one of the best games for the PS4! An easy top 3 and front runner for PS4 Game of the Year 2018! The game mechanics are different from the previous 3 God of War games and that isn't a bad thing! You still will enjoy many epic battles along with improved customization choices to make for Kratos and his boy. The Graphics are smooth and crisp and don't take long to get accustomed too. The story is very well written and it's balanced from start to finish!

In a word, incredible. God of War comes back with a strong start and keeps the momentum rolling throughout the game. With beautiful visuals, great game play and a compelling story, the new God of War takes players through a brand new adventure that will keep them coming back for more. With a new pantheon, new characters and a new style, this is what games should always be like. Santa Monica Studios, congratulations on such an amazing story.

This game is by far my favorite game of this generation. It was a fun change up from the classic GoW series, would definitely recommend it to anyone. So much to do and so much depth along the entire journey! The statue and other collectibles are high quality and any collector would love to have them on their shelf.

This game does nothing wrong. Solid gameplay, solid characters, solid story. I enjoyed the original games but this game made me fall in love. This is the first game that made me literally laugh out loud in years. This game was a work of passion by the developers and they truly made an experience here worth exploring.

God of War is the latest game from Sony Santa Montica. It's the tale of Kratos and his son Atreus. It's a 30 hour story showing the relationship and bonds that grow between the pair. It's also only available on the Sony PlayStation 4. If you don't have this game, or the system, it's recommended that you purchase both.

The game is quite simply amazing, with a great story that develops a deep bond between the characters and has plenty of jaw-dropping moments and twists. The collection itself is great, with the statue looking great with a lot of attention to detail. They little additions are great for hardcore God of War lovers.

This game is everything I wanted it to be and more. Being a long time God of War fan, I was expecting a lot from this game ,especially since it has been so long since the last game in the series. This game was well worth the wait. Way beyond my expectations. The graphics and story are simply amazing. Love it.

I don't even love the GoW games. I liked a bunch of them but they were never my go-to games. This game deviates from the old formula but delivers a much more engrossing and rich story as a result. The fighting is still super tight and fun and there is so much to do.

Definitely the best game in the God Of War series, and one of the best PS4 exclusives to date. Gameplay is a lot different than previous entries, with focus on a tighter camera with a behind the shoulder view. The story is also a lot more mature and emotional than I would have expected.

One of the best games on PS4 for sure. This is an action game, but you definitely have to fight strategically or you won't make it very far. Amazing graphics and a great story. The Stone Mason's edition is the perfect collector's item for God of War fans. Couldn't recommend this more.

God of war is fantastic. Best action adventure game of 2018. The stone mason edition comes with great quality collectibles that includes an amazing statue. If you enjoy action games with great stories and exploration with a little bit of rpg elements I highly recommend God Of War.

A real change of pace from the original God of War series with a viking theme, great story and acting, and new deliberate style of battle where you need some strategy. Amazing graphics and motion capture, it is a great adventure story.

I have played about a day and a half so far and I LOVE IT... beautiful story line and love the challenge... well I have it on easy because I suck really bad its still challenging! On easy, its not so hard that I get turned off because I keep dying... I ABSOLUTELY love this game!
