The DJI goggles are a lot of fun to use. They are great for sharing the drone flying experience with someone else. They are heavier than I thought they would be which makes wearing them for a long time less comfortable than I expected. The experience of looking around while flying the drone is amazing. It is fun to control the flight of the drone with these as well, but it is best to have someone holding the remote control in case override control is needed. I would recommend sitting down while using these as they caused me a little bit of motion sickness. You also have to make sure that you are facing straight ahead when you turn on the flight controls or gimble controls, otherwise they sense the change in direction of your head will not work properly. Overall, I love the goggles. They are fun to fly with and even more fun to share your drone flying experience with others.

These googles are excellent, coupled with my Mavic Pro and Occusync, you can control the camera gimbal and even some flight of the drone. But The phenomenal part is the picture quality. I have had my drone to the end of my line of sight and the picture just flowed, like looking out of a window, zero latency or camera stutter, signal was just amazingly strong. Best drone buy I have made yet, next to batteries. They ARE very pricey, but if you can afford it, I highly recommend them, you won’t be sorry.

I’ve flown FPV with racing quads, so I’m used to the sensation. These are way different. I can fly with glasses on or off (I prefer off since I’m nearsighted and can read all the data easily), and the battery lasts longer than my thumbs, so power isn’t a worry. Once you get used to having a toilet seat on your head your world just opens up. I like using the goggles to control the gimbal, and my video has never looked better. Between the field of view, comfort level, and telemetry these goggles are the real deal. I won’t fly my Mavic without them.

Not really that impressed with the goggles. I have a P4 and it doesn’t work as flawlessly as it does with the mavik. I might have to return them if I cannot switch the settings to fly further and higher. Not the best purchase I have made.

Using with my Mavic Air or Phantom 4 Pro make the experience totally different and a cool different perspective. The view is great and fun. The downsides I found are: it’s hot to wear on an average day or warmer, controlling the function from the touch panel on the side are not smooth, and it’s a bit big and heavy. Still fun. Practice and be prepared for things like automatic RTH and not being able to figure out the touch panel in a rush.

The DJI goggles are totally amazing. What I find to be the best thing about them, I have never seen in any of the reviews. When flying my Mavic Pro using my iPhone, I would put it in the air and then decide what direction to fly. When using the DJI Goggles you see everything out there for quite some distance and you see so many things, you just fly from one to another to another. When I say you see everything, I mean you see absolutely everything. I really can't see any instance where I would fly my Mavic Pro without using the goggles now that I know how great they are.

DJI makes the best drones and technology hands down. To be fair these googles do exactly what they claim, and they do it pretty well. They are optimized for the Mavic but work well with the entire range of DJI consumer level drones. If you have a DJI drone they are far superior to any FPV goggles (Fat Sharks) that you will buy. There are only 3 real downsides that you need to consider before buying them. 1: They are HUGE, and Heavy. I am a 6'2" 225 man in fairly good shape and they kill my forehead and neck after about 15 min. 2: The wireless range is terrible for the Mavic. You will have to plug them in to your controller and then they will work fine. 3: You cannot see your drone, or anything around you while wearing them. When you flip them up to take a look you can never seem to get them back in the right position as when you put them on initially. My serious recommendation is buy the DJI integrated Moverio BT-300 glasses. They are DJI Approved, fully integrated and totally worth the extra 400.00 if you are actually going to use goggles for DJI Photo Drone Flying. I have the DJI Googles, the DJI RE Googles, Fat Sharks, and they all sit on the shelf in my hobby room while I wear out my BT-300's I promise once you try them, you will agree.

But not as good as an actual Virtual Reality headset. For 300$, it's kinda barebones compared to an actual VR. This also can make you feel sick. It's basically just a screen in a headset, no actual immersion imo. But still, dad really likes it aside from the nausea with no stabilization when you turn your head.

These goggles add a whole new realm to drone flying. With your head flying the camera gimbal and your hands flying the drone with the controller, you are effectively a bird in flight - it’s amazing!, the only downside is they are big, a little goofy looking and get very hot and foggy on a hot day.. I personal think it’s worth it.

It really is a decent view and does make you feel like you are looking down from your drone. The weight is a bit much and I'd recommend using a buddy to actually control the drone while you use the goggles. Once you do get used to them it really is fun to use them.

The resolution, the clarity, and the ease of use are all a plus. The only negative is the weight of the goggles is a little on the heavy side. but not a reason to not use them. The other is the lenses only adjust for pupil distance apart from side to side, not focus. I was going to take them back because the screen was a little out of focus and made my eyes strain. I decided to try over the counter reading glasses and that did the trick, although I don't use glasses to read with. The glasses made my eyes relax and the viewing experience a wonder. Using the goggles to control the Gimble camera is a blast. Where you look controls the camera which you see in the goggles. On flight mode, your head movement controls the yaw, or side to side direction of flight. Takes some practice, but when your flying a fair distance away and you can't view your drone, you are looking at an iPhone or iPad screen anyway. The goggles make it so you don't have to "shade" or have trouble seeing your view because of bright sun. Easy to control menu flight functions from the touch pad on the side of the goggles. My experience has been nothing but awesome.

These things work great! pretty magical at first and fun to let friends or parents wear them when flying drone. Also, cool to watch other videos via HDMI plug in. ultimately not sure if it's worth the steep cost. Don't think I'm gonna use it all that often when flying as I like being aware of my surroundings.

Love using these with my Dji Mavic Pro!!! It's an amazing immersive experience. I've used my phone along with a cheap pair of vr glasses and they no where compare to the experience you get with this. The field of view I immense and I love being able to watch movies and play videos when connected to any hdmi compatible device!!!

got bored using my phone or ipad so i checked out the goggles. fun to use but heavy with long use. not necessarily practical when going out or hiking to a spot to drone. to connect an HDMI cable you need the HDMI module on the back which is another $100. then you need a mini HDMI adapter for it. but what is nice is that you can connect it to the ipad to fly it and let someone else experience the flight with the goggles as you control the drone. its not true VR, just an HD screen projected through the goggles but it works. i do have issues sometimes seeing the data display on the top of the screen, but maybe my head is too small. in any case, if you have the extra money and you are bored of using your mobile devices then give the goggles a try
