While this wasn't what I quite expected (think Mario Golf), this is a very fun and charming game that is casual enough for younger players. I enjoy the interwoven story that accompanies my character. For the price of this game, you are getting a very quality experience.

Awesome game I honestly didn't think it was for me when I bought it but hearing all the praise it got I couldn't pass up the physical. I've currently probably got about 15+ hours in and I'd say it's one of my favorites on the switch personally I enjoy it more than the first parties out so far. It has a simi-open world that opens up as you progress the main story, with mini quest and challenges that make it feel like a collectathon with alot of secrets it just extremely satisfying though I haven't found any secrets that are overly complex yet. And when playing the main courses nothing is overly difficult and the qualifications for completing a course isn't something as stringent as a hole in one every time but when you do get that hole in one it's extremely satisfying their isn't much like it. TLDR: videos and trailers don't do it justice try it for yourself it's a blast.

Great golf game with an RPG style storyline. I've been telling my friends that it's a like a cross between Tiger Woods Golf and Legend of Zelda. The disc golf challenges can be difficult to learn the controls but still a very good game

This is the first video game I bought for myself and about 10 years. I really enjoy the game and so do my boys. The thing that drives us the craziest, is that you can hit the absolute perfect shot in the fairway or onto the green and these stupid ground moles will take your ball and carry it and place in the rough or the Sandtrap. It’s so dumb and frustrating!

Golf Story is a great and unique game. It is a golf game with RPG elements and some great humor. I put 25-30 hours into this game and loved it. If you have a Switch, pick this up! It's a hole in one!

Relaxing and fun--would recommend Stardew Valley as well, if you like this game

Those games made by Camalot reminded me of this game. This indie title is nothing short of amazing. From story to gameplay it hits the spot. And another exclusive from Best Buy is nice as well.

Only thing I don't like is I have to look up the controls again when I take too long of a break

Wow a game where everything is solved by playing golf yes please i have not finished the game but man this is a great game and i got it cheap too 15 dollar well worth the money

I'm not an athlete by any stretch, but my buddy the internet told me about this game years ago. I sleep on it until I see that Limited Run Games is releasing it, but I didn't have money at the time so, oops. Then Best Buy out of the kindness of their hearts gave me a 2nd chance at owning this game. It's pretty fun, like the best golf game on the Switch fun and that's just the ten minutes I actually played it before I went back to Smash and Pokemon Let's Go To The Polls.

This is a must own for indie game lovers! The story is unique and well written and the gameplay is fun and engaging for all types of players.

going back to my PSP days, I really like a good golf game that allows me to play at my own pace, multi-task if I want to, etc. Although golf is limited on the Switch, I've tried a couple with not a lot of satisfaction - passable but not great. Golf Story is fantastic. The story was unexpectedly fun, and the golf play is very fun and challenging - the various golf (and disc golf!) challenges range from very easy to hard, but all are beatable. If I could give this more than 5 starts, I would. Beware, it is addictive!

I'm playing an 8 bit golf RPG, and loving every second. This is very unexpected. This game just has so much charm. Its constantly hilarious.

Enjoyed this, difficulty ramps up pretty fast at one point but still fun.

This is a nice exclusive for the switch with an interesting take on a golf game. The story is fun but I do wish you could fine tune the golf strokes a little more. It's not supposed to be sim though so just enjoy it for the fun that it is.

I love the golf/sports element and RPG elements where you level up your player and take on different courses. Fun game for fans of both

First I am so glad limited run games is now getting some of their games stocked by Best Buy! I wont be able to rate the game much because I haven't played this much. It is a very fun game and very innovative for it to be a golf RPG. This comes with a cool booklet and it's awesome to have a game that would normally only be digital have a physical copy!
