For $79 its maximum value to use with your Galaxy Note 8. Even better than the Galaxy headset definitely

Mainly use it for video content. Nice to lay back in bed and watch netflix without disturbing the wife.

Great VR headset if you're not a hardcore gamer or of the likes. This is more of a sit down and relax VR experience to pair with a capable phone. The Google Play Store has plenty of apps to make good use of this device, and even some from well-known app makers.

I was looking for a way to watch various video streaming services without interrupting those around me. Since I've purchased the item, there have been many improvements to the services I use most often, and the updates that allow for use of the devices as a private media player option that allows for use while laying down on a couch or in bed without the VR features that would inhibit this type of use.

This is my first VR product ever, and I had my expectations right knowing that it won't be fully immersive yet enough to hint what the future may be. Works great with Pixel XL 2 and finding video apps is easy if you want access to a ton of VR library.

Ease of use was great.. Quality was great. Purchased as a gift.

If you wear glasses you'll likely need to wear them under the unit. There is no focus adjustment wheel like on other headsets. The software is also incredibly buggy and basic. No webrowser! Overheating and just flat poorly designed apps are normal. Would not recommend paying full price ($100). Wait for a sale which happens often ($50).

Works great with my ZTE Axon phone. Mostly a gimmick to have VR but still entertaining none the less. Phone gets quite warm while using VR apps and battery will drain but not a big deal since this is known going in. All in all a fun toy.

Comfortable, easy to use; just wish there was a way to adjust lenses for better focus.

I tried the new vr but it's just not as good as I thought it would be. So why five star rating well because the design of the Google vr is so cool and the quality is very high but really vr isn't for me. But I did like the product

always been a huge fan of VR but never had the chance to own something decent and compare this to cardboard this definitely takes the cake for the sale price that it was being offered but at regular price i'd recommend staying with the cardboard style unless you are serious about VR and want to take the next step before Occulus (or other VR style brand)

Before Google ended support for the Daydream headset I had a awesome time with it considering I had the current Pixel phone with the specs needed to run certain games I had no problem with the setup. Only thing I would complain is how the phone gets really hot for just 15 minutes of playing.
