If you find yourself using WiFi more than data then the flex plan is great. so far what I've paid for 4 months is about what I was spending for one month. With the flex plan there is a chance that I could pay more, but the number of months where I'm not even using a full gig of data more than make up for it. Just be aware of wifi you can connect to. If you know that you will be using more data you can save some cash by changing your plan through the app. The fi app is very user friendly. Also I rarely get spam calls anymore since switching to fi. My old carrier I was getting them so often I had to keep my phone on mute. Really a wonderful phone plan.

A bit of pain to have to wait for Fi to credit my account fo cost. I was not very happy with Fi itself--not very good coverage, expensive for one user, overchaged and took 3 months to get that fixed.

Great for International Traveling

I have traveled through out Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and India so far and I haven’t had any issues in finding service. In more rural parts of India I did experience no service but once you get around cities you have no problem in finding service even LTE. The set up is easy and transferring your number was easy too. I would definitely recommend Google Fi if you live in decent size cities in the US the plan is very affordable and if you are traveling the international charges are very reasonable compared to other international plans.

Note: if you're like me and had Fi before you'll need to chat or call support so they can allow you to reactivate your account. After 2 days it automatically informed me I'd get a credit for buying the sim card. I liked that I could get it at BestBuy instead of waiting for it to come in the mail.
