    Too sensitive

Overall it does what it says it does, however I believe the pedometer feature might be a bit too sensitive. I notice it’s counting things like piano playing and typing which are pretty sedentary activities. I have to remember to take it off when I’m practicing piano.

Hi there, JasonS. Fitbit uses a finely-tuned algorithm to count steps — looking for motion and intensity patterns indicative of walking or running. Arm movements from desk work, cooking, or similar activities can sometimes add a few steps, often giving credit for the brief walking that typically occurs between stationary periods. Charge 6 and Fitbit not measuring up!

Charge 6 tracker is very similar to the Charge 5, which I was quite happy with until the battery died. Sadly, heart rate is no longer tracked while in the water, which for me is a definite negative. Disappointed!

Value for money, works just fine. Very good alternative to expensive watches if you don’t need the added functionality of managing the phone with the watch like an Apple or Samsung smart watch.

The sensors drastically over exaggerate and the sleep tracking is not always accurate. It gets me most off the way there but for something this cheap it should be expected. Overall not bad but not great

Hi there, John. We hear your concerns regarding you not getting the most accurate readings from the Charge 6. Here are a few things to confirm to get the best results:

      For step tracking:
Confirm your height and wrist settings are correct in the Fitbit app to get the best results. Since it uses height to estimate your walking and running stride lengths, you may want to measure and manually adjust these values if your legs are longer or shorter than average.

      For sleep tracking:
      1. Check if your sleep setting is set to Sensitive. If it is, change it to Normal.
      2. For accurate sleep tracking, position your device 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone, ensuring a secure but comfortable fit.
      3. To adjust a sleep session’s start or end time, edit it in the Fitbit app.

My mom's Fitbit died on her. She didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new one. This Fitbit works perfectly for her. It not only counts her steps and activity, it also alerts her when she has an incoming call.

Replaced our two year old Charge 5 that kept freezing up. The move to Google innards makes this feel a lot snappier than the 5 and the QOL updates with the interface are also nice.

Overall it was an okay purchase but it only lasted 3 years. Became extremely hard to read with such small print. At least if you're in your 40s:-)

I upgraded from the fitbit 5 to the 6 and its worth every penny. This definitely keeps your heart rate alot more accurate than the 5. They have all kinds of new features as far what exercises you can choose from.

This Fitbit is great. It is comfortable and comes in handy with tracking my miles. The only thing i would recommend is to get another band because my skin reacted to the silicone band.

I really like the responsiveness of the screen plus its non intrusive tracking - very much unlike the Apple watch. I wish however the battery was longer and actually be true to the advertised week long.

Not the best model out of all the Fitbits

I’ve used Fitbit devices for a very long time ever since the first Fitbit flex. But the many times I’ve used them they would last at least year before breaking. This model charge 6 wins the worst model I’ve used. I’ve only had the device for 8 days and already it gave me charging problems. It died on me when it had some battery left. I had to return it.
