You can realistically set it, and forget it. It works very well with the Google app.

We use Apple Music and it never picks the right song. It usually plays the most janky version it can find. Check out the issue on the Google Nest Forum: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Speakers-and-Displays/Google-Home-never-plays-the-right-version-of-a-song/m-p/85353/page/2 It's enough of a headache to send the whole thing back.

So what'd they do? They just put it in a new box and sent it out as recertified. They never even looked at it because it had the same exact problem. I'd expect more from Best Buy.

The range was about 8 feet on one of 3. This second set seems to have about a 15 foot range for all thee when linking and about 30 feet for the wifi.

Posted .Hi TheDad, thanks for choosing our Google Wifi devices. We're sorry to hear that one of your Google Wifi Points was defective, and that you are experiencing short Wi-Fi signal coverage as well.
We recommend checking if you´re using a modem/router combo. If you are, we recommend setting it up in bridge mode and disabling its Wi-Fi functionality. This will avoid any network issues caused by both your combo and primary Google Wifi Point, broadcasting the same SSID and password. You may then connect your primary Google Wifi Point to your modem using an Ethernet cable, and then connect your secondary Google Wifi Points to your primary Google Wifi Point wirelessly.
Here are some additional steps you can follow:
- Check for possible congestion in your Wi-Fi network. Removing some of your connected devices can help free up some bandwidth space. You may then check to see if you will still experience the same connectivity issue.
- You may also check for possible sources of interference such as the thick walls and appliances in your home.As a general rule, Wifi Points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. You can check this link to see an estimate of how much Wi-Fi coverage you’ll get with a Google Nest Wifi and guide you on how many Wifi Points you need: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7182840
