    I already had one Google wifi router and was very happy about it. Then I decided to install a new Google Nest Camera over the garage and need another wifi extender to boost the wi fi signal. So I bought the 2nd google wifi router to create a mesh connection. Worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

    The Google Nest wifi extenders have been awesome in my house. I live in a barndiminium and the metal seems to knock down the wifi signal horribly. These solved my issues. Highly recommended.

    Easy setup and solid performance. I have the newer version of this acting as my main router, and 2 of the AC1200 versions as my wireless nodes. Signal is great and my devices stay connected.

This is definitely a limitation of the system, and it's understandable that it could be a dealbreaker for some users. However, it's important to note that many mesh Wi-Fi systems require an ethernet connection for at least one of their nodes to function. This is because the mesh network needs a central point to connect all the nodes and distribute the internet signal.
