I purchased it as a gift for my neighbor who had packages stolen from their front doorstep and he advise he could not have it wired in and was looking for a battery powered camera instead. I then noticed that I was only afford it 2 1/2 weeks to return the item. So I’m stuck with the camera.

Google as had two updates that have ruined the quality of the Google Nest Cameras. Google has run Nest into the ground sibce they bought them out. Getting rid of Nest secure and raising prices for Nest Aware was it for me. Horrible customer service.

The new Nest Cam with Floodlight is exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience. Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all of your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, as well as Google Assistant. In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. Our team is working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app so all of your Nest devices can be set up and controlled in one place.

We're sorry to hear about your frustration with the upside down image you get with the streaming video feed from your Nest Cam with Floodlight. If you mounted your Nest Cam with Floodlight on a ceiling or overhang, or at an odd angle to get the view that you want, you can adjust the video so that it's right side up. You can simply turn or twist the camera. Or you can flip the video 180 degrees with the Home app. Here's how:
- Open the Home app.
- Touch and hold your device's tile.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Video.
- Go to Rotate image 180 and tap the switch to turn it on or off.
