It's a good doorbell, very little lag between the door being rang and notification. Makes it easy to respond quickly before people walk away. The camera could use a wider angle but overall good.

No annoying false alarms with the built in AI and we waited to purchase the subscription. I never knew there were so many stray cats in the neighborhood. Now we have an outside cat house to keep them warm in the winter. We ending up getting a 50% off a years subscription to Nest

Product arrived with clearly visible gouging to the glass camera lens. Immediately returned for a refund. How this was deemed resellable by the Geek Squad certification process is beyond me.

The good- this doorbell picks up motion far better than my eufy 2k. It alerts my phone right away. There’s not much delay. It syncs well to Google hub and Google home although not perfectly (eufy performed terrible across the board but I have since bought a new router that may improve its performance). I also like the different seasonal bell sounds. The bad- first and formost, a subscription is needed to view anything past 3 hours.. so if something happened in the middle of the night, you most likely won’t see what it was unless you fork out $ monthly. The camera field of view is very small compared to my eufy. It syncs up alright but I honestly expected better from Google and nest. I’m alerted every time something happens but when I go to view a replay it plays part of the way through the triggering action and then freezes and closes out the app. Also it does not continuously record, you can only view live feed, and past events, not pick a random time of the day and go back and look at it. It also doesnt always record until the motion is done. I want the whole event. When UPS drops off a package, it doesnt even record until they get back into their truck sometimes. If they ran over my mail box on the way out I’d have no clue. And while the different seasonal bell sounds are nice on the hub and doorbell itself, it would be awesome if they could integrate that into the app notifications as well. Also worth noting, I had a good deal of trouble getting the doorbell switched over when I bought a newer router and it took a couple days of fiddling with it because I’m sure I was supposed to do something before I disconnected the old one. Over all this doorbell is decent for the refurbished cost but I will still search for one that does better in the areas I’ve mentioned.

If you're a Google home fan, you'll be happy with this camera. I would give it 5 stars but they have issues staying connected at times. We purchased this doorbell to replace one of ours that wouldn't stay connected. When a what doorbell cost you'd much, you don't expect to have issues with it. The older doorbell had wider view range but this one has more height range. The quality of the video is much better than the older cameras. I wish if Google wouldn't even decided to get rid of their nest app, because the nest ad was so much better with their doorbells than the Google home app.

The refurbished doorbell works as expected and was very easy to install. We have a newly built house (2016), so I opted for the wired install. The camera is clear and gives me very few false alerts. Night vision is bright, and the software is easy to use. It works well with my door chimes. The installation was super simple. Solid build, smart software.

I'm really happy, has amazing video quality. It's fast and and the recognition is unbelievable. Notifications works great and it's easy to install an settings too

The doorbell itself is fine; there are a bajillion reviews of the thing all over the Internet if you are curious about the doorbell itself. (I found it easy to install, with clear instructions, and the picture quality is fantastic, even at night.) I guess I won the sweepstakes when it comes to "Refurbished" products; the only difference mine had vs. new is that it no longer had the shrinkwrap on it; everything else was pristine, down to the tiny little boxes for individual parts. I suppose if you order one and it's missing things or is damaged, just order another one and try again; for the discount BBuy is offering (I got $90-off vs. new) it's worth it.

Cidoeo quality is good. Responsive in google home app. Notifications are near instant. I wish it had apple home integreation. It sucks the consumer suffers flr these companies not getting along. 3 days of recording is fine but feels like for the price they should offer more. Very cloud reliant

The Google Nest Doorbell, Wired (2nd Gen) is a great video doorbell. I really like the picture quality and how well everything shows up on the app. You will get alerted when the doorbell is rang or when motion activated. You can even talk to people thru it which is pretty neat as well.

The picture is in full color and crystal clear. It has a really good range and notifies me on my phone. It detects motion and starts recording before they reach the doorbell so it captures anyone trying to hide after they knock or ring. I can check the camera at anytime to see live stream. It gives me peace of mind to know when my high school son leaves on time in the morning and arrives safely after school. I am very pleased with this door ball.

Good camera. Easy to install. Could have better video quality. Mine was refurbished and it's been 3 months so far without issues.

Google home app is far more responsive than my old doorbell camera and paired app (Alarm.com). Very fast alerts for motion detection and able to customize what zones to ping your phone at. Only negative I can think of is the video quality and/or FOV could be a little better. Well worth the money!

I feel much safer with this doorbell. It watches for movement and notifies me. I watch the recording or live action on my Google Home app day or night. If I want, I can talk through the doorbell. I can even customize the outside doorbell ring sound. I’m so glad I bought it.

This camera was a steal. The materials are really quality and it feels sturdy on the door. The camera takes a very clear image with good colors and clarity. I got it for $60 on a flash sale, and it was completely worth it. With products like this where it'll be exposed to the elements, it's not a bad thing to get it refurbished. Save a ton of money and just know eventually it will get a little discolored on the button. It hooked up very easily with our Google Home network and we get more reliable notifications than we did from Alarm.com. The only downside is it doesn't integrate with our security system we have in place already, but that's not really a drawback. That's on the various home security companies and their walled gardens on interoperability. Get this when it's on a good sale ($80 or less). Very worth it.

We are creating a smart home using google home products. The google nest wired doorbell is the best solution for us. Seamless installation through the google home app and also installing the physical doorbell. Instructions are easy to read and follow. The doorbell functions very well and notifies you when someone comes to the door, packages, vehicles and etc. you can also modify your notification and focus on activity in specific zones you create. We also have nest aware where we are able to see 27/4 video history. Awesome product!
