I was a bit surprised that a Geek Squad refurbished phone would be delivered in a cardboard box with essentially no protection. I'm glad I picked it up at a store and opened it before paying as the included charger was a low wattage Motorola model. The customer service rep. did make it right by taking a Samsung charger with a bit more guts off of the shelf. Overall, the phone works fine and is quite impressive, but if I would do it over, the $100 savings for what I got fell a bit short, and I would pay the extra for a brand new one.

I bought this unlocked Pixel 5 to connect to Verizon's Total service, and it worked halfway. It seems that unlocked Pixels specifically aren't compatible with the phone company. Everything works except messaging. I thought it was a chip issue, so I tried it with my old Pixel 3, and it had the same problem. So the solution was to buy a prepaid Pixel 6 from Verizon, and that one did work. As I said, the problem is with unlocked Pixels.

We have purchased several Geek Squad Certified Refurb products in the past. They have always been exceptional quality. As of late, the quality of their devices has taken a drastic turn making me never want to ourcahse them again. The last two devices we bought were completely unacceptable and of the worst quality. This phone for instance has screen burn-in, which will never fo away short of a screen replacement, and the battery drained from 100% to 1% through normal usage in an hour and a half. These certified refurbs are no longer worth the headache and hassle of having to order, what for arrival, only to have to make a trip to the store to return because they are faulty and defective. Best Buy is slowly losing my business as it has deminished my faith in them.

This is the best phone ever. I have purchased two phones so far from Best Buy. Good pictures and long battery life. I recommend it to everybody. Thank you.

I am returning this item as its giving too much heat upon use, I understand little downloads could heat up the mobile but this is beyond the normal heat limit

Phone works well. I use it as a back up phone in case I need it or my family comes to visit.

The refurbished phone seems alright, but the charger that came with it is not the Google charger. I wouldn't mind, if the charger was an 18W charger which is needed for the rapid charge. Instead it is a 15W which doesn't support rapid charging. And they didn't include the adapter. I know it's used, but it still needs to be complete. I called to ask for a new charger, but they said they couldn't do anything for me. They said I could take it into a store and maybe the store could do something.
