Easy to setup and use. Video quality is good. Each camera covers a broad area. Works great.

Nest products have been great so far. Biggest problems for me on these cordless cams though is connection and battery life. For the next to highest level of capture sensitivity, I’m getting roughly 3-5 days worth of battery life before recharge is needed. When recharging, the unit often times for several minutes doesn’t even realize it’s on a charger or connected to a power source (it will make a chime letting you know when juice is getting to it). Then the charge will take anywhere from 5-10 hours. Again, you will get a notification via the app that unit is charging and how long it will take before full. Not sure why it takes so long on some days but it gets charged on the same plug in the same outlet every time. Oh well may try a different outlet. Connection can be splotchy sometimes so I’d recommend a decent Wi-Fi mesh system or signal booster if you have a big house. Overall I’m satisfied with these as the setup and mounting was simple and the picture is great

Its okay i guess. dont like that i have to keep charging it but it gets the work done

The Google Nest Cam Indoor/Outdoor is a great product—durable, easy to set up and install, and perfect for both inside and outside use. Its night vision is excellent, providing clear images even in the dark. Notifications are fast and reliable, keeping you informed about activity at home. Highly recommended

This is my second outdoor nest cam, the first was nest before google. I'll begin with what I like and then what I don't like. The camera is very easy to set up. Within a few minutes I had it up & running. The magnet that holds the camera is pretty strong, and should stay in position. This one is mounted outside of my home. The video quality is good, and the audio is clear. The app alerts me to activity. The camera itself seems durable, as it has operated through snow, heavy rain, strong winds, and the like. I did purchase nest aware upon getting this camera. So I now have 24-7 history. My issues are similar to others, with the new cameras not being compatible with the nest app. I'm sure the thought behind this was to make things easier but in my opinion it doesn't. As a result I use both apps, as I prefer nest app over google home. Secondly, my first nest outdoor camera was wired and this one is battery. I was told there is no wired outdoor option. As a result, I have to physically take the camera down to charge it, which takes several hours. If you were going away for a few days, my advice would be to make sure the camera was charged before leaving. The app does let you know how much time you have before the battery depletes. The things I don't like aren't deal breakers, I don't want to spend a lot of money getting a new system, so I'm keeping them for now. I would recommend this item to others. However, I'm not crazy about the google home app, which I would mention if asked.

This is a great camera. The images are very good and the notification features accurate and reassuring. Night time images are also great and speakers and mics on these cameras are adequate and useful. It comes with a 1 meter charging cable and my camera was averaging about 1.5 months between charges until I bought and installed a 30’ charging cable to permanently hardwire the connection. The permanent connection is the way to go for me, but I can easily move the camera anywhere at times and revert to battery. I bought the 30 day video retention on my Google account after my free 30 day trial. I feel this cost is well worth what you can do with it and it automatically includes using my previously purchased wired nest cam. You can add as many cameras you want under the Google video storage subscriptions which is a a great value to. Would I purchase these Google cams again? Yes! No regrets.

The Google Nest Cam is a decent security camera, but it has its drawbacks. While the image quality is clear and it’s easy to set up, the battery life leaves much to be desired. I find myself having to recharge it at least once a week, which can be inconvenient, especially if it's mounted high up. If you plan on buying this, I’d recommend waiting for a sale and investing in the solar power attachments to avoid the hassle of frequent recharging. It’s a good camera overall, but the battery life could definitely be improved.

Great cameras. Easy to setup. Installation was breeze. Good connection. Very good view. Many options for the settings. Build microphone and speaker. Love the build battery just in case you loose power. Love it

It's been 2 months and the camera has done a good job. I charged it fully when I bought it and now it finally needs a recharge. No issues on installation and no issues since.

I walked in right away someone asked if they can help me I was not sure about the product because I had no idea about the product because this is my first time buying cameras. She explained about the product and that her self had the same, and that they work wonderful that they were a little bit more pricier than the ones that we were looking at. But we needed the best quality to see who’s coming in and out of our property. I like the fact that they’re wireless, but not the fact that I have to charge A more frequently because of the heat but other than that the picture has great quality and picks up emotions and animals and everything that comes in and out the yard and you can see it perfectly

I have purchased several of the Nests outdoor cameras that I love. But was always a bit of extra work dealing with the need for an outlet or hiding a long cord. This solved those problems making it extremely easy to setup and install. The video quality is great and the app is super easy to use. I do worry a bit if perhaps it might be an issue for theft in high traffic areas.

This is a really good camera. The picture is clear and you can see a lot. At night you can see if anyone is bothering your property. Night picture is not as clear as day one but still lets you see if anyone is there. Installation was simple and quick. We have the nest doorbell so we just added the camera to our Google home account. We put one camera on the garage and one on back door. They are quick to notify my phone when they see someone.

Very good battery life and video quality, Only downfall is footage is only saved for 3 hours. So if you dont go save it within then, its just gone forever, and if something happens overnight, by the time you wake up the footage has deleted it self. I understand it being optimized for performance but 3 hours is far too short and should be fixed

The Google Outdoor Wire-Free Camera works well and is easy to install, but its biggest drawback is the inability to rewind and review past footage without a subscription. This limitation makes it feel like just a live-view camera, which is fine for basic monitoring but less useful for reviewing events. On the positive side, the camera is sleek, wire-free, and provides a clear picture, making it a good option if you’re okay with paying extra for playback features.

I used to like my google nest camera's but they've gone downhill. Connections to my wifi had been super buggy and cant always connect to see the videos until way later. I get a notification saying person seen but i cant review it. The cost per year for the cloud recordings have doubled since ive joined and the quality of service and performance has gotten worst. The battery life seems to be worst than the older generations. I got this system because im renting a house and dont want to screw anything in and they have magnetic mounting as an option. I'll be switching to a better system when that changes.

Overall very good quality video. The nighttime video is a bit grainy but without lights on you can’t expect perfect. I have bought more since this initial purchase.

I’ve been using the Google Nest Camera for a while now, and I’m really impressed. The video quality is super clear, even at night, and the motion alerts are quick and accurate. I love being able to check in on my home from my phone when I’m away—it gives me real peace of mind. Setup was simple and only took a few minutes, and the app is very user-friendly. We purchased 4 of these cameras to replace some Gen1 and Gen2 Nest camera we have installed. I was hopeful the image quality and features would be better on the new cameras. So my two cents on these after a month of using them Pros - Very good daytime image quality - Easy to setup and install, though the repetitive instructions for how to attach the base to wall are tedious - Flexible installation, powered all the time or just battery powered Cons - Mediocre night time image quality with the Night Vision turned off, though better than the earlier cameras - Night Vision has been hit or miss, with frequent pixelation in the image - All 4 cameras have horizontal banding in the image. These are all installed in the same locations and outlets as the older cameras. This problem runs from very subtle and difficult/impossible to see, to more more visible and obvious. It seems to occur in low to moderate light, so dusk or maybe a staircase with a single light at night (see photo) - Tech support is atrocious at best. - Only a 15 day return period if you buy them from Google, longer if purchased from a third party. - Google moved the camera to the Google Home app, so the video can only be viewed on the app. The browser web page interface has been removed, and you can only save video clips of Events. No more customer defined video clips.
