Worth the money

The clarity is amazing and i love the fact that i can hear and speak out of all of them! Night vision on them is clear and just as good at day light. The battery lasts forever! Overall super pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend. Installation was a breeze.

Change lasts a while depending how often the camera sees something. The more it sees something the more battery it uses. Try to keep out of direct sun and rain too. Really easy to use on the smart phone

Removing a star, as I''m little disappointed that the wired connections changed from the prior model and it wasn't clearly noted, so will need to now purchase the separately.

Good cameras

You will have to purchase the google nest plan to keep videos for 6 months instead of them deleting after 24 hours. But even without it you should be able to download needed videos. Overall they are a good purchase.

One of my cameras loses connection pretty frequently, I'd say that blink is more reliable in that area. This would be a great camera if they were a little easier to update wifi. I like to change my wifi password every once in a while. Today, I bought a new mesh network, and I had to grab ladders and pull each device down, factory reset, then reconnect them. It's such a time suck, I'm not entirely sure why it can't be done without that. With blink, you just update the base and all devices connected to it work. I like the rest of the features, and it works most of the time.

We suggest using the included wall mount for surfaces like walls. Simply attach the wall plate with the included screws, then secure the magnetic plate onto the backplate. Both of these mounting options let you power your camera with any power accessory like the weatherproof cables, or run it on battery power.
Also, we recommend having the latest version of the Google Home app that may improve camera playback controls to make it easier to play, pause, and navigate between events from the camera history view. Also, adjusting the camera settings like video quality, wake-up sensitivity, length of video clips, time between recorded events, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas, can help improve your experience. And for the night vision, try to angle your camera away from bright lights, or to install the camera in a shady spot. You should also make sure that any nearby surfaces or objects (like a wall) are out of view, since the camera’s infrared light can reflect off a surface. I just wish those would also work with the system, but this works really smoothly with the new Google app Google Home so I’m giving it a go.
