The issue is most likely related to a connectivity issue with your network. We recommend checking if your Nest Cam (Battery) might be getting a weak Wi-Fi signal from your router. Placing your Nest Cam (Battery) in a location where you get better signal reception might be helpful in improving it. The issue may also be related to possible congestion in your network. Removing some of your connected devices to free up some bandwidth space, and to test if the issue will persist. If you verify the presence congestion, we recommend contacting your Internet service provider and consider upgrading your bandwidth.

It does not work with the current Nest App, only Google Home, which is a garbage product. I could not get these to work with Google Home either. Google has ruined a fine product family from Nest.

It does jot require a Neat Aware subscription to work, but you'll be limited to just the last 3 hours of viewing. Battery life is dependent on how much/often you life stream the video.

But these new "NEST" cameras don't work with the NEST app. They have to use Google Home. So now my other NEST cameras are on the NEST app but i have to use the new one on Google Home. So annoying!! Google Home app sucks.

The new generation of Nest cameras, including Nest Cam with Floodlight, is exclusive to the Google Home app. We understand that long time Nest users, like you, have enjoyed viewing your Nest camera feeds from the Nest app. However, our priority with this launch was building a complete experience for our new cameras and doorbell in the Google Home app. We wanted to make the Google Home app as the one place you can control all your favorite Nest and other smart home devices with the Google Assistant.
