    Not compatible with nest app, quality is horrible. Battery, one camera at 55% in 5 days, other one at 65%. Would rather recommend buying the previous Nest/Google wired cameras that works with the nest app.

      New Nest cameras are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience. But you can still view your existing Nest cameras alongside with the new Nest Cams in the Google Home app. Also, using the Google Home app provides you with a lot of benefits including access to Google's trusted security platform and access to other Google tools and with seamless integration with other Google devices.

      As for the quality, adjusting the video quality in settings to balance high resolution video with longer battery life and lower bandwidth use might be helpful.. For optimal video quality at 1080p, an internet connection upload speed with at least 2 Mbps per camera is recommended (DSL may not qualify). Please check the steps below:
      - Open the Home app Google Home app.
      - Select your camera.
      - Tap Settings Video.
      - Under “Video quality,” tap High.

      Battery life will depend on factors including activity, temperature, and camera settings that you select. You can extend the battery life of your camera by adjusting video quality, length of video clips, time between recorded events, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas.     Worst product ever. We had nest outdoor IQ camera that went out. This camera is poorly designed for outdoors, easy to disconnect and its not compatible with the nest application. It also is not supported by recording applications like Blue Iris.

    I am not pleased with this camera I have 2 older cameras both nest and they notify me every yime there is movement outside my house the new one does not notify me I’ve tried adjusting but not working

    I dont know if it was THIS camera or the system in general but we got a pack of two and this one and this one would never connect. All troubleshooting followed and nothing.

    The battery doesn’t last long, I even purchased a cable to charge at the same time. The battery still didn’t keep its charge.

    Incredibly disappointing. Do not buy. This is not like previous nestcam. Reduced app functionality. Horrible motion detection. Takes 1-2min to load live view. Essentially a paperweight. Worst camera ever. Should be recalled.

    The camera is great, but don't order it from Best Buy. I ordered it and it never came, and there seems to be no way to cancel the order. Customer service said to wait three days till see if it ever shows up, but they have no information as to where the package actually is. Last time I buy from Best Buy!

    Overall this is a good camera. The issue is with Google. Nest app is an amazing tool for smart homes. This camera cannot be added to the nest app and only can be viewed from Google home. Google home is a terrible app. Unfortunately this is enough to steer away from this camera.
