Unlike reviews i see here, i have no problem with this camera. - After 3 days batteries only went down 2%. - I was already using Google home, adding the camera was no problem. - Only 1 cable for 2 camera. That's true, but since i am not charging the camera very often i can do 1 camera at a time without problem - No problem with video quality, i can clearly see what's happening in my house. So so far very happy with purchase, next is Nest doorbell.

I set this camera up in 12/2021 and it had been working fine since then. I mean, I live in an area where let's of wild animals cross my porch, and this camera has never been able to determine that they're animals and not record an event...but I was still happy with it. This month, I'm noticing an issue. This camera will go full days without recording an event (my settings have not changed); it will miss me exiting/entering my home, miss the post office and goodness knows what else. Today, I realized that the night vision is not night visioning...the picture is super dark and not even restarting it helps. In daylight, the picture looks fuzzy. I've attached before and after shots with and without night vision. I'm going to see what I can do to fix it, but I doubt this camera will last another year.

I recently purchased the Nest Camera Outdoor, and it’s truly transformed the way I approach home security. This camera is an incredible addition to my smart home setup, offering outstanding performance and reliability that exceeded my expectations.

The setup for these is quick and easy. Have a few of these around the outside of our home ans bought more to get more coverage. Definitely recommend

I use this in my office and the only complaint I have is. There is a room with constant activity which requires the camera to be charged frequently

This is the fourth Google Nest Camera that I am buying. That means they are really good. I don't regret buying them.

These cameras are top notch. Beenbin the weather for a couple months now, bad storms with heavy rain. I have crystal clear recordings of every day, rain or shine, day ir night.

It was extremely easy to install and get online with my Nest doorbell. Very sharp video quality, and wide angle. Highly recommended! I looked at several other options, but decided to stick with Google, since they would both be accessible on one app. I’m very happy with how it works, quality and the low cost of cloud storage of videos.

They work great even in the cold weather. Great quality!

The camera quality is great. I think neat products and services are converting completely over to Google so the neat app doesn’t support all of their products. Happy with the cameras and doorbell we have.

I’ve had this camera less than a year. It started going bad in the winter time. Also, the temperature doesn’t even get that cold where I live, around the 40s. Google claims that this will charge even at 32 degrees, this is patently false. There’s a fatal flaw in the design that even when it’s plugged in, it relied on the battery to give it power. However, if it’s too cold, the battery will drain in less than 24 hours and then it won’t charge. Again, this will happen even if the temperature is above 32 degrees. This is also my second camera that has had the same issue. Save yourself the headache and stay away from this camera. It will be great the first couple of months, and then it will literally die on you. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when.

There is not enough info on how to use and when to sign in for the activity saved . I would like to know if i can add another phone to the account that lives here.

I have purchased many google nest cams they r helping me relax a lil due to my mentality ill son he leaves the fridge door open the stove on and moves thing all threw the house

I was skeptical about this version of the Next Cam because of the battery. But when paired with a regular power adapter or with a solar panel this is an awesome device for basic home security. The sound quality and video feed are both top notch

I really wanted to like this camera. But it just does not do the job. I have a pool being built, below a deck, and I really wanted a camera that would pick up anyone on the stairs of the deck, or anywhere around/in the pool. It works great on the deck and stairs, but if I walk around the pool or anywhere to the right, it does not pick up motion at all. I understand it's directed to be placed 6.5 feet from the ground, but I would still expect this to pick up motion from higher and farther. Ultimately, I was hoping to use this in place of Blink cameras, to keep everything in one app, but the cheaper Blink cameras far outperform this. They pick up so much more motion - motion anywhere in camera view - while this simply does not. So this is getting returned. For the price, I expected much better performance.

Excellent cameras with very good 1080p video. No lights attached but the night time vision is still very clear

These cameras allow me to see inside and outside of my home. The setup was extremely easy and not complicated. I have the ability to communicate with people and record for saftey.
