I'm very impressed with the overall quality of these new Google Nest cameras. The video streaming is crisp and clear, loading is quick, and they are very intelligent about recording only the people, animals, etc that l want and nothing more. They were easy to install and never miss a beat.

Highly impressed with the upgrades that were made to the picture of this camera. A step in the right direction by going to 2K, looking forward to seeing when they will go to 4K

Here’s a clean, straight-shooting review you can drop anywhere: Review: Google Nest Cam Indoor (Wired, 3rd Gen – 2K, Gemini) I switched over from a Eufy pan-and-tilt, and honestly, this Nest Cam is on a different level. The recording is far more consistent, the motion detection actually catches what I need, and the Google integration is seamless. Setup was quick, it stays connected, and the 2K video looks sharp day and night. If you’re already in the Google ecosystem, this is the camera to get... reliable, simple, and it just works.

Much better than previous version! Fit to previous mounting parts! New type C charger cable (previous - USB A). Wider angle. I like it.

Great indoor camera wide range. Can zoom in very closely. Very clear picture. Also using automations one can set up motion detection and leave the cameras off which automatically turn on once they detect whatever you set as a parameter. Also Best buy had these at a great price and delivered expeditiously.

I upgraded an old camera to this new camera. It’s a really clear picture, and has a nice wide field of view.

This is my 3rd indoor 2k nest cam. I have the 1st and 2nd gen. This is a huge improvement!

Easy to setup. Wide angle, shows the entire room. Picture is clear and sharp.

With 2K resolution, the image and video quality is noticeably better than previous gen. Was able to set this up with the Google Home app without issues. Have not had a chance to try out the AI feature, but good to know the feature is there if needed. Only compliant I have is adjustments to rotation and angle remain limited. Other than that, solid upgrade!

I previously had the wired indoor Nest camera which already quickly became one of my favorite cameras. The new wired Nest camera takes what made the previous gen great and improves upon it. Hardware wise, on the outside not much has changed. The camera still has the smooth plastic matte finish that makes in blend in if the surrounding areas are close to the color of your choice. It’s still roughly the same size as the previous gen so it won’t stand out too much. The optics are where the upgrades lie with a better field of view and also a clearer and more sharper resolution for video. Software gets an upgrade thanks to Gemini which it comes with a free trial to test out the new features such as daily summaries and detailed notifications of what it’s viewing. Google Home manages the camera and settings which are easy to setup and access within the app. Overall it is a great smart camera which is a no brainer for those in the Google ecosystem and even if you are not, it could be a great start to show you what the Google and Nest ecosystem is capable of

Ive been part of the nest family for years. But i must say this model truly did do small improvements in a big way! Bringing Gemini opens doors to me feeling more safe to determine of my daughter is awake in bed or still asleep, or if my cats up to no good. Or best if maintenance is in fixing an appliance. Strongly recommend if youve been eyeing this product.

Easy set up, and fantastic video quality. We've used these as baby monitors in my house, and then have transitioned them into traditional security cameras. The yearly cost is getting a little on the higher side, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the cameras for the money.

Great purchase for our needs. Bought this to monitor one of our kids while going through medical diagnosis for seizure activity while he sleeps at night. Quick and easy setup. Good video quality even in a dark room with the night capability. Reasonably priced and checkout was done quickly.

So far so good I am liking this camera. I up graded from the previous camera. The picture seems very clear. It recognizes faces clearly. I have not upgraded to the $20 a month monitoring package. I am not sure if it is worth it. All in all I do like this new version and f the Google Nest Cam.

Easy set up and good quality. The cable is super long so you can put it anywhere. Nice to have the option to mount it on the ceiling or just put it on a table. Night vision isn’t the best Good cam to add if you already have other Google nest devices set up around the house
