    Run away, don't even think about purchasing.

    No ability to integrate into an existing Nest system. NO way to view it on a PC. Google forces you to use their horribly designed, horribly executed Google Home app. How Google can sell trash like this makes no sense. 100% deceptive advertisement and information. The image quality is garbage too compared to the old, real, Nest product lines. In short, run away!

    Google Home App sucks. It won’t work with the Nest App. Do NOT this product.

      Hi Kaibil, thanks for letting us know of your feedback about the Nest Cam (Wired), and we’re sorry to hear that using the Google Home app is not ideal for you.

      We wanted to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, and Google Assistant. It offers you a lot more benefits since you have access to Google´s security features as well. In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. And while the new Nest cameras and doorbells are exclusive to the Google Home app, users with previous versions of Nest cameras can view their camera feeds in the Google Home app alongside the new Nest Doorbell and Nest Cams.

    The camera is not powering up. I brought it back to best buy and they said it was too late ( 21 days) for an exchange.

    Not a good camera

    Google had to continued with the line that Nest had, nor does the Google app work as well as Nest. The Nest reviews were almost 5 stars and google 3. I hope they have a product like the one offered by Nest again.

    Have to use Google accounts and Google Home for these to work properly. I don’t have Google, and bought Nest cams before Google acquired Nest. Now I have a bunch of useless cameras. Thanks Google!

      Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, and Google Assistant. In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. Users with older cameras can view their camera feeds in the Google Home app alongside the new Nest Cams.       Hello there, VictorWhiskey. We appreciate your feedback on Nest Cam (indoor, wired). This device is one of the new versions of Nest cameras. We’re continuing to support the Nest cameras, as well as to deliver critical security updates and software fixes and owners like you shouldn’t notice any difference with your service. However, we made the difficult decision to stop support for Nest Secure and Dropcams starting April 8, 2024. We will also officially end Works with Nest as of September 29, 2023.
