    Great camera for indoors. I replaced an offbrand camera from Amazon that I had been using when babysitting my in-law's dog. If you're brand new to the Nest ecosystem like I was, this is a great addition. I know most of the bad reviews are due to the disruption from previous Nest generations. This is a fine camera. If you have it indoors, you will probably want to disable the events in the Home app to not blast a notification every time you walk by this camera.

    Excellent camera. Great clarity. We like that they are AC powered, so no batteries to keep charged. We have seven of these models (and several outdoor models). We are still on the Nest trial which gives us 30 days of history, not sure if we will opt for higher subscription which gives us 60 days of event history and 10 days of 24/7 video history.

    It’s disappointing that Google doesn’t allow these new cameras to integrate into the standalone Nest App like the previous generations. If you have a mix you can only view these cams in the Google Home App. That said, video quality and field of view are top notch for the price point and installation is a breeze.

    this is a graat camera for the house. we do not have the subscription for recordings but it comes with a three hour recording. that is good enough for us.
