    I purchased a combo of wired and non-wired Google Nest cameras. The wired ones went in areas where an exposed wire didn’t bother me. Super easy to install and fantastic clarity and resolution. Highly recommended. Bonus, they were on sale when I purchased them.

    The installation was very easy and straight forward. This Nest Cam has very clear video in room light and very clear video in darker conditions. Fit right in with my Google Home App, BUT was surprised that it could not be viewed in Google Nest App. I understand from Google that they will be discontinuing Google Nest.

      We understand that longtime Nest users enjoy viewing their camera feeds from the Nest app. However, our priority with this launch was building a complete experience for our new cameras and doorbell in the Google Home app. We’re working on bringing full functionality to the Home app as we want to create an integrated experience with other Nest and smart home devices. And while the new Nest cameras and doorbells are exclusive to the Google Home app, users with previous versions of Nest cameras can view their camera feeds in the Google Home app alongside the new Nest Doorbell and Nest Cams.

      We’re continuing to support the Nest app, as well as to deliver critical security updates and software fixes and owners like you shouldn’t notice any difference with your service. Google commits to bring users the same feature and software support you’ve always had. However, we made the difficult decision to stop support for Nest Secure and Dropcam (starting April 8, 2024.). We will also officially end Works with Nest as of September 29, 2023.     This has been an amazing camera. Extremely easy to setup, high quality picture and I love the way Google tracks events that occur when recognized. I know exactly when anyone is heading up our driveway and this camera pretty much covers the entire front of the house.

    Using this as a baby monitor along with my Nest Hub Max and it has been great! After I don't need it as a baby monitor it will be repurposed as a security camera in my foyer or maybe near back entrance. Setup was easy and simple. My only gripe is the base doesn't have a standard tripod screw hole or adapter of any sort so I had to 3D print one.
