    I really wanted to like this camera, but the Google Home app and limited camera options in the app made me return it. This is a fine camera if you just plan to have one or 2 in your house, but any more than that and it gets messy with settings and trying to view camera history. If you need more cameras or want more settings options go with Wyze.

    Love the camera, the picture is crystal clear even in night vision. the sound can be a little jumpy at times but over all it is a great product!

    Decent camera, integrated with existing home system easily. Quick install. BUT a bit pricey.

    It is a good product compared to the camera that works with battery. Sometimes it does not record any type of event even if it passes right in front of the camera, the quality of the recordings is not very good

      Hello there, AbrahamB. Thanks for sharing your experience with Nest Cam (indoor, wired). We’re sorry to hear that your experience is below your satisfaction. We suggest checking each of the camera settings so you can choose which events your cameras can detect and record (people, motion, package, etc.). From there, you (and each member of your home) can decide which of those events to get notifications for. If an event is turned off, you won’t get notifications for that kind of activity. Using activity zones to monitor specific areas can also help.

      You can also adjust your cameras’ video quality that may improve the resolution. The higher the video quality setting you choose, the sharper and more detailed your footage can be, but it also uses more of your internet bandwidth. This setting lets you choose the maximum video quality for your cameras. And whichever level you pick, your camera will automatically adjust its resolution and compression according to how much bandwidth is available.     Please allow 90 degree rotation of the stream.

    Solid device but really dissapointed in the lack of ability to rotate the video by 90 degrees (180 degrees is available). This is literally trivial to do and there are tons of complaints online.

    I bought this camera in hopes to use with my existing Nest account but was disappointed when I found out that I needed to set this up on Google Home instead. Google Home is absolute trash to say the least! You can't view your cameras via a website and the app is horrible. I hope they remedy this soon otherwise I will be looking for a new service.

      - Automatic security protections such as Suspicious activity detection, 2-Step Verification and Security Checkup.
      - Your Google Nest devices and services will work together. For example, if you have a Nest Cam and a Nest Hub, just say, "Hey Google, show me the backyard camera” to cast your camera stream to your display without any additional setup.
      - One account to sign into both the Nest and Google Home apps.
