Really impressed with definition & features zooms great

I had someone coming around my house opening doors. I decided to get cameras to deter/catch who was doing this. The sensitivity of the camera software is excellent. They miss nothing. The clarity of the cameras is excellent. I highly recommend these cameras. The "Door Opener" has not returned since the installation of the cameras.

Very happy with purchase does what I wanted to do.

Great product from Nest works flawlessly easy to set up.

Drilling of a much smaller hole (1/2 inch) than the regular Nest outdoor cam is a big plus. Mounting bracket is sturdier than a magnet mount. The AI feature of zoom and follow is nice. If you're going to bother installing outdoor cameras, I think it's worth going with the Nest IQ.

Although they aren’t the cheapest ones in the market, they have the advantage that they detect not only movement, but also persons, so they let you know when there’s a person in their sight, that for me is the biggest advantage.

The Google Nest IQ Cam. has great resolution, sound and motion sense. After purchasing you receive a free 30 day trail of all features after the period ends the cam feature are shut down! The only access you have is live footage but if the motion sensor activates the cam monitoring freezes. You cannot watch any back footage only a few still frames. The Cam basically is useless without paying a monthly subscription! I think that is completely absurd when the cam is $400.00 . That’s pretty expensive to only be able to go live when nothing is happening. Completely disappointing!

To rate this product is a no-brainer. The Google Nest Cam IQ Outdoor Security Camera is ridiculously over-priced and is not reliable whatsoever. When it picks up any movement or sound I need recorded it either goes offline or is offline. The Nest iOS app is completely worthless. I'm replacing my Nest security cameras and Nest Hello Video Doorbells with Arlo products. This means all the money I spent on Nest products went down the drain. I tried to get Google Nest support to do something for over a year then just gave up and moved on. I improved my internet speed and upgraded my home Wi-Fi router and added two bands and it still didn't help. I sincerely believe that the problem is rooted in their software. I have 2 FEIT flood lights with security cameras that together cost less than half the Nest Cam IQ Outdoor Camera and they perform significantly better under the same exact conditions. They are online and record when necessary 99.99% of the time. The Nest Camera is not online 10% of the time and it records when necessary less than 5% of the time. WORTHLESS. Don't waste your money on Nest products. Their service is totally incompetent. They don't follow up or get back to you. There is no way to contact them directly. There is no way to get a tech person on the phone. The people you get on the phone are clueless and you have to escalate an issue after 5 phone calls and numerous emails and after one year I still did not get the problems fixed. What good is having security cameras if they don't work when you need them to work?

Love them, just wish Google would release shorter cables or release an approved method of shortening the cables. I’m going to end up googling how to shorten them once they’re out of warranty since it does void your warranty. Otherwise these are great cameras

These cameras are great, you can setup alerts to find out when movement or sounds happen outside your house. They're great for when you're away from home or just at work. They even zoom in and follow faces as they walk by so it can recognize them if it has them saved in your remembered faces.

Cameras pic up everything. Wish it was clearer. When you scroll back to earlier pictures captured it takes a while to switch to picture you want to view. If I build another house I’d buy different brand. My ex wife called Google Nest and put cameras in her name only and we had to go back to Best Buy to get receipts to prove I bought them. Then we had to take all cameras off the house take pics of bar codes and we were on phone with tech guys who didn’t even know the products and we wasted 6 hrs listening to their foreigners who do tech support and speak crappy English. We finally got cameras up and running.

Good video and sounds pick up. Told friends about camera

Was a bit hard to set up, I had to contact tech support. Sense owning it I had one that went bad and they replaced it for me with no problem. There has only been one time sense owning that google nest messed up and it wasnt saving the recording, they did how ever give us a small credit

Love my newest addition of a backyard camera. Very responsive. Even if a spider crawls near it. Motion, sound or person. It knows exactly what alert to send to my app. For peace of mind have a door bell and a camera by nest. Quality worth the price!
