Camera seems to be working nicely. Gives a nice wide view of the front of the house. Night and day images are pretty clear and works well with the software. Would like to have have a better nest "all camera" mode though for all my camera views.

This is a great camera and I have other next products that work well together. The biggest issue for me with this camera is not price it is the limitations of the power cord. They only give your 25 feet so depending on where you place your camera you might have to get creative.

We bought this camera to help us during COVID-19 pandemic so we could help with homework while we worked we both are in healthcare and had to continue work. We bought this so we could talk to them and they could talk to us. This is so worth the cost!

Its been close to two years now since I got these cameras and they have been great so far. They have lots of great features but the best for me is the zooming in on images while still maintaining a full view of the coverage area.

These cameras are working out great. I have other Nest products and cameras but the IQ with the tracking feature beats them all. Thanks Neat for providing two different ways to connect the power cord. The new mounting system is a plus. Sm

I bought these cameras for my husband. Base on the reviews I thought NEST nailed it. Not really, daytime Clarity is very good. Nighttime isn’t so good. People look like ghost floating by. Compare to the ARLO NIGHTVIEW..better. So I will be returning them.

Awesome glass and the microphone surprised me by picking up birds chirping 20' away by the bird feeders,people talking 30 yards away when walking their dogs.I can hear clearly every word people say when they walk by my house.

Overall the quality is good, when you zoom in the picture gets grainy and loses quality. Woukd have expected a little better qualified such expensive cameras. I do like the tracking feature and nest aware feature as well though.

Payed full msrp which hurts, but camera went on sale the next week so I got refunded some. More than just a camera auto zoom and tracking software is fantastic. Its more than just a camera. Well worth the money.

I have purchased a few of these now and have them on the outside perimeter of my house. I also have one in my garage. They work really great ,and have face identification which works fantastic.

Very easy to setup, hardest part was deciding where to position the camera to optimize the view. Worth noting that at highest resolution the camera can upload lots of data, so may want to check internet service provider limits

Camera works and looks good. The only frustration is the Nest products can be difficult at times to attach to your network. I have found if I reset my router after every Nest product added it seems to work.

Only complaint is the provided cable for connecting the camera to power. It is 25 foot long. If you don't need the full 25 feet, you cannot do anything but coil the excess up and hang it next to the power transformer.

I’ve had this for about a month and it’s been working well so far. I wish the integration with the Google Home app was better. Currently have to use the Nest App for most of the advanced features.

So as far as a camera goes, these are pretty decent. You'll have to place them pretty close to human head range to get a good look at a face though. My big beef is what happened when the pandemic started. Google decided they were going reduce the recording quality on the cameras in order to help ISP's keep up with internet demand. Now there are a lot of things wrong that are happening here, the first being that google has access to the device and can control the camera settings regardless of how you've set it up. It's a HUGE invasion of privacy. The second issue is that my ISP, which essentially has a monopoly on my portion of the city, charges exorbitant rates, and has already admitted they are having no problems with bandwidth even with the increased demand due to the pandemic, yet they charge me an extra $50 to remove the data cap on top of an already unusually high rate for mediocre speeds. I pay $130 to Comcast specifically so that I can use these cameras without going over my limit and Google wants to help the poor ISP that says it isn't having any problems. Beware if you buy these that google can change your settings anytime they see fit.

I bought this as an upgrade to my original Nestcam Outdoor. I use that to oversee my front driveway and I wanted something that would provide a clearer picture and be able to zoom in with more detail than the original. After reading many reviews about the Nestcam Outdoor IQ and others I chose the Nestcam. I had been waiting for it to go on sale and it finally went to $300 down from $350 so I bought it. Please note that since I bought this, Google finished purchasing Nest and now the camera costs $400. I had no problems following the easy setup instructions just like the original. I installed it in the same location as the original and used the same holes I had drilled to run the power cord. After setting it up, there was no noticeable difference in picture quality so I was disappointed right away. I changed the picture quality to it's highest setting and still did not see a difference. There aren't really any other settings to improve quality so I left it and gave it about two weeks, reviewing scenes during that time. What sealed it's fate for me was one nighttime scene it captured with people walking by on the sidewalk. All of their heads were blurry and pixelated during the whole time they walked across the camera view. I even sent a clip of that video to Nest support and they agreed it was blurry. I don't know if I had a defective model but it surely did not live up to my expectations or the reviews I read about it. I ended up returning it and resintalling the original. I would not recommend the Nestcam Outdoor IQ based on my experience, and because of the price increase.

These cameras are solid. Great for outdoors and the weather I experience in the Midwest!! Rain, snow, hot and cold sometimes all in one day!! These cameras survived it all. We now have 4!

Installed this Nest camera to monitor the front area of our home; it has built-in microphone and speaker allowing communication with visitors, excellent voice quality. Will purchase another for the back yard.

I had my camera installed so there are no wires exposed. looks amazing. great field of view, 180° pair up to my nest app in seconds! The zooming in and out of motion sometimes can doesn't track very well. All in all I love it.
